Extras: The Behind the Scenes feature consisted of 10:26 minutes of interviews with Maddy O’Reilly and some of her coworkers, her charms shining through. This was followed by 10:23 minutes of Bonus Footage where Maddy showered and masturbated on the couch (to a popular little scene by the way) using a wand vibrator. There was a pop shot recap, a photogallery, some trailers and web information as well as a bonus scene. The bonus scene was not directly related and not newly shot for this production, limiting how much value it added to the mix. It was a 25:25 minute scene from Buttwoman Vs. Slutwoman that I described below in detail, Kristina Rose showing Alex Gonz a good time in an aircraft hangar. While a bonus scene shot specifically for this movie or even bonus footage of Maddy getting especially nasty would have been preferred, those who haven’t seen the scene previously will likely enjoy it as a look into the past Slutwoman works.

Audio/Video Quality: Maddy O’Reilly Is Slutwoman was presented in a crisp anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Mimefreak for Elegant Angel. Each of the four scenes had distinctive challenges, the opener beginning outside, some of the others containing public footage, and some of the lighting tough to establish in others, most of these issues resolved well enough to make Maddy and friends look as good as the director could under the circumstances. The framing was good and the editing (by Walli Mellon) helped keep the pacing up, a mixture of shots from what appeared to be a single HD camera in most cases polished up quite well. There was no company watermark on the screen at all times as appears on many releases these days and the flesh tones were accurate in all well lit scenes. The aural components were presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital encoded English, no evidence of a separate microphone from that on the camera being used in the scenes. There was no separation noticed and the dynamic range was limited as a result, the only case where there was much of an issue was with the abundance of wind noise in the first scene (making it hard to understand what was said), some modest issues arising later but not out of character for a gonzo release.

Body of Review: Mimefreak is the talented lead director at Elegant Angel, any project he touches likely to be among their best. As such, I went into Maddy O’Reilly Is Slutwoman with a great deal of hope, my appreciation for the series dating back to the 1990’s when Alexandra Quinn was considered the best of the best for slutty behavior and a willingness to do anything, and anyone, under just about any circumstances. More recently, German extreme queen Annette Schwarz and Latina Kristina Rose wore the crown, few questioning their credentials given some of their exploits on and off camera. Now we are told that Maddy O’Reilly, the gorgeous young hotty featured on the front cover, has obtained the level of depravity needed to earn the title of “Slutwoman”, my first impression being that someone needs to lay off the pipe.

Maddy has had an excellent year doing features and vignettes, just starting to do interracial and anal after massive amounts of lesbian work. When there are those who have literally blazed the small screen doing everything under the sun to the point where they blow everyone else away in their gonzo performances, why pick a lovely young flower still rising up through the ranks of the porn pantheon? So yeah, I went into this one with a lot of doubts, none assuaged by the advertised “first DP and DV” on the front cover, after all, a real slutwoman should have those acts down in spades before being considered for the role, yes? And yet, Maddy has really cranked up the heat of late too, her very best work done in features to show she’s more than just another piece of ass even if her gonzo credentials have skyrocketed thanks to scenes with men like Manuel Ferrara, Lexington Steele, and other top talent. Say what you will, there was a great deal of doubt by the porn masses on this one, rightfully so given the particulars, so I discarded the fanboy love for the show and dove in head first, noting that if anyone could be critical but fair here, it was me. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Maddy O’Reilly, the sexy young lady featured on the front cover, was up first in a white tank top and tight shorts as she pissed off wood cutting Derrick Pierce. He made it clear that she was pushing her luck, the muscular man tossing her over his shoulder to string her up in a wooded area where no one would hear her screams. The scenes included one of her first interracial trysts, her first recorded DP and DV, and ample evidence that Maddy has grown tremendously as a performer since last summer. Still, to wear the mantle of “Slutwoman” means more than just doing a handful of explicit sex acts and so much of Maddy’s porn resume consists of lesbian work that even a fan of hers like me has to question the selection, the totality of footage here meriting a healthy rating of Recommended with little doubt in my mind about lowering it (or raising it). Each scene had scene specific flaws (Derrick is no Manuel, Wesley and Rico are no Prince or Lex, the lesbian tryst was very uneven and showed better choices for the role, and the final scene did likewise) but it should be noted that Maddy’s overall porn credentials in areas outside of gonzo in the past year have exceeded those of former winners of the crown, something those about to unload on me should keep in mind. In short, Maddy O’Reilly Is Slutwoman was a fun gonzo fuck flick showcasing a lovely young lady who is still growing as a performer, her best work yet to come as she continues to improve. My belief that she was unsuited for the title “Slutwoman” at this time aside, she is definitely one to keep an eye on for bigger and better things.
