Audio/Video Quality: Big Loves 4 was presented in the usual 1.78:1 ratio widescreen color as shot by director Miles Long for Third Degree using the usual MPEG-2 codec favored for standard definition releases offered up in 480i resolution. The settings were bare bone basic which allowed for fair lighting that minimized the grain, video noise, and aliasing of the visual elements. The down side was that there was a need for more lighting and a steadier camera. The composition of the shots was generally favorable to the ladies for the most part but the almost random editing seemed to distract at times when the camera would zoom in on some blemish or other visually weak moment and be left in the final product. The video bitrate varied considerably but seemed to hover around the mid 4.3 Mbps mark, few compression artifacts observed and the overall impression given to be favorable. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the 192 Kbps standard under a 48 kHz sampling rate (the lack of an optional Spanish dub track not bugging me one bit), the rare vocals showing no separation but the minimalist opening music giving the slight impression that it did matter to someone to add in some head space. The dynamic range was otherwise kind of limited but this being gonzo porn, I really did not expect a whole lot.

Body of Review: Miles Long shoots for several companies these days, one of the best being Third Degree. While most of his work tends to focus on erotic styled vignettes, he does a fairly solid job of gonzo as well. His latest movie making it my way last week was Big Loves 4, a movie dedicated to ladies some would call "fluffy" or BBW, though for their extra junk in the trunk, none of them were truly "fat" so much as voluptuous in my opinion. The big name this time was Ginger Lynn, a long time fan favorite embracing her latest comeback, though gals like Jenny Hendrix, Luscious Lopez, Rucca Page, and Corina Jayden all had their personal appeal too. With five scenes of hardcore action, those of you into plus sized ladies will probably like this one a whole lot. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

In short, Big Loves 4 had Ginger Lynn and others worth taking note of but it just struck me as kind of generic compared to other efforts released by the company.
