This disc's two long girl-girl scenes -- one hot, one lukewarm -- provide fans of Abby Winters' Sapphic series what they've come to expect. Young, natural, pretty Australian girls let it all hang out, making love to their own rhythm with no (apparent) directorial intervention or instructions. Editing is minimal and the soundtrack features just the natural sounds of skin rubbing on skin, passionate kissing, wet pussies being licked and prodded, and occasional small talk and giggling.

Petite beauty Silvie -- she has a Polynesian look -- is in both scenes, first with the very thin but still sexy Carly T (who has a Slavic cast to her), then with voluptuous Kiki (who notes her ancestry is a mix of Sri Lankan, Spanish and Saudi). Silvie and Carly are truly into each other as they kiss lovingly throughout their scene, which takes place on a big bed. There is much trading of oral favors -- including some fine face-sitting by Carly -- plenty of fingering (but no anal play) and more than a couple of genuine orgasms. The action gets so intense that Carly lets an audible fart escape and neither girl is fazed by it.

After their session is done, the girls lie around on the bed and chat with the director, Silvie admitting that this was her first experience with a girl. Coulda fooled me. When Carly exclaims "I'm starving, oh my God!" you look at her ribs and protruding shoulder blades and you're not surprised.

Lovely Silvie gets a little more aggressive in her scene with Kiki, which takes place on a sofa and a floor. But Kiki, sweet as she is, seems a bit detached. They both get in their licks, and Silvie seems to be having a great time, but in their post-sex interview, Kiki wraps herself in a blanket and fidgets like she just wants out. It's an example of the kind of real reality that makes Abby Winters' porn so popular.

                                                     THE DVD

Shot on HD video, "Luscious Girls" is beautiful to look at. Director Patience provides a wide array of camera angles, from long shots of the girls' full bodies to close-ups of tongues on pussies. Everything, especially in the first scene with Silvie and Carly T, looks and feels natural and unacted.

The picture is in 1.85:1 widescreen; the sound is solid, though some of the girls' small talk fails to come across clearly.

Extras are standard for Abby Winters DVDs: a lengthy, well arranged slide show, brief previews of a dozen other AW girl-girl discs, and a come-on for the AW web site.

                                               THE LAST WORD

The first half of this feature, with the beautiful Carly T and Silvie, is about as good as girl-girl porn gets -- it's fun, passionate, long-lasting, varied, explicit, and the girls seem to love each other, at least for the duration of their encounter. Not so much the second scene, with Silvie again and the somewhat tentative Kiki. And on a disc with just two girl-girl scenes, there should have been four different girls. Nevertheless, there's enough lesbian loveliness here to satisfy fans of the gyno genre.
