Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the typical 1.33:1 aspect ratio the adult industry uses. Full frame seems to work for them, making it easier to standardize and all, but the higher end productions are slowly moving to widescreen so ask companies for it. In any case, the picture was grainy and had some minor lighting issues at times, but it wasn't too bad. Further, the minor video noise wasn't as bad as many earlier releases and the action was good enough to distract even a jaded old reviewer like me. The audio was presented in the usual stereo English that Vivid employs in its features. It was a bit hollow and the music not the best but again, it wasn't terrible either.

Body of Review: Vivid is known throughout the porn industry for many things, having made movies for decades. While some focus on the fact that they are making a lot of compilations these days, those who pay attention will note that they also have a large stable of contract stars, cute ones at that, and still make features. In their latest feature, Loveless, the story focuses on a young guy, Eric Masterson, who falls into a relationship with an attractive neighbor, Lezley Zen, that has very defined limits. In a sense, they were fuck buddies; a deal where each can call the other for booty calls but no emotional attachments are allowed. True to human psychology, one of them, Eric in this case, wants more from the relationship and the movie looks briefly at the fallout from this fact. Keep in mind that Chloe is not the star of the movie, Eric is with Lezley coming in a close second, which is a pain since Vivid put Chloe on the cover. Thankfully, Chloe at least has two scenes here so fans won't get too mad but it still strikes me as misleading advertising. Here's a look at the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Chloe, the blonde cover gal in her sixth Vivid release, the mighty Evan, and Eric, had a scene on a bed. They went right at it with oral and straight sex being the focal points. For some reason, the camera angles were often very close up and tried to exclude Eric's face but the scene wasn't a bad way to start a Vivid feature. It ended with a double facial for those who care and she did seem to enjoy it.

Scene Two: Lezley, a brunette that has an awful lot of sexual skill and attitude, took on Eric in a bedroom. The sex was hotter this time, with some real energy and heat. The two engaged in oral and straight sex but her oral skills alone were worth watching this one.

Scene Three: This scene started off with Cherokee, a hot little brunette with a great body, getting it from Mario while Lezley masturbated on a bed. Cherokee claimed that this was her tenth Vivid release (I haven't seen her in that many movies altogether) and her powerful thighs were nearly as sexy as her round ass. She did most of the work, pumping her ass back to meet his penis, in the doggy position with her cowgirl even better. This was a hot scene and also ended with a facial.

Scene Four: Lezley, in yet another scene (a good thing, by the way), started off this time with Julian, the tattooed man, on a bed. He was slowly going down on her and she seemed to enjoy it nearly as much as he enjoyed it when she returned the favor. They energetically screwed in a couple of positions and she rubbed his load out with her hand (and mouth).

Scene Five: Chloe, looking even better this time, had a scene with Eric on a bed. I really liked her fishnet stockings although her moans didn't really convince me that she was getting off (I try not to confuse loud with hot as so many others do). It had oral and straight sex, ending with the traditional facial and wasn't bad.

Summary: I liked the sex in the movie enough to rate it as Recommended. I would've loved to see another scene with Cherokee or the other scenes fleshed out a bit but what was included was pretty solid in terms of heat and energy. Lezley is also a great performer and the minimal plot was well done in a David Stanley sort of way. The production values were a bit lower than I expected but this was enjoyable to watch, even with the standard Stanley ending.
