The editing was decent, if a little rushed, and the minor quirks on the technical side did not deter me from enjoying the scenes most of the time. The bitrate was all over the charts here with much of the footage coming in around the 3.3 Mbps range but there were not a lot of compression artifacts present that I could see. The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate but there was no separation noticed that I could figure out, and the dynamic range was pretty limited too; the scenes coming from quickly shot gonzo; the guerilla shooting style favored by pornographers everywhere.

I’m not about to suggest that each lady in the flick was a major hotty or that the technical aspects were picture perfect but the quality of the sex and the amount of chemistry between the performers was off the charts most of the time, making it stand out as a winner of a show. In short, Manuel’s Fucking French Vacation: Special Set is a double disc title well worth picking up for your collection, the technical aspects sometimes rough but the sexual tension and release definitely better than most of what is available on the market these days.
