Extras: The best extra was the Behind the Scenes feature lasting 29:53 minutes. I listened to the English language version which had Manuel’s voice overdubbed in most cases, the French and German version available too. There were a bunch of trailers too, including a variety of languages for the vocals and subtitles for those who care. There were also some DVD Rom features listed in general that are standard to the company’s productions.

Audio/Video Quality: The Orgy Initiation of Lola was presented in anamorphic widescreen as credited to director Manuel Ferrara for Marc Dorcel. Manuel and Alex Ladd worked the video cameras and Chris Streams handled stills, an assortment of other talented people adding their talents to make the project look like the “pretty porn” it was supposed to be instead of the kind of hardcore offering Manuel provides for Evil Angel and Jules Jordan. The framing was nicely done, the editing of the feature elements handled better than the sex scenes, and the flesh tones were very accurate using the stylish post production tricks the company has long been known for. The outside establishing shots at the airport, the beach, and the boardwalk were nice touches few seem to care about domestically but they did help make it look more like a feature. The aural components were originally shot in French for the most part, despite a largely domestic cast, dubbed vocals (including Manuel) in English, German, Italian, and Spanish; subtitles in Portuguese, Greek, Dutch, Polish, or none at all. The vocals in French were well handled and easy to understand, offered in 2.0 Dolby Digital with the usual audio bitrate. The music was better than average and the dubbed languages were on the weird side (just like the BTS), but it was okay overall.

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara is the most popular male performer in the industry at this writing and has been for a long time according to scores of women. As a director, women line up to push their limits with him all the time so it made sense that he would accept an offer by Marc Dorcel to direct a few titles for them. This time, Manuel was commissioned to shoot an entire movie, not just a single scene, a feature called The Orgy Initiation of Lola. This was a showcase title of sorts for lovely French performer Lola Reve, the lean blond with pretty eyes definitely a selling point to anyone into women at all. A closer look at the entire movie though shows that her efforts were fairly limited with the main draw the all star orgy of American porn performers (with some notable inclusions mind you), the idea being that Manuel’s usual hardcore approach to porn be traded in for the “pretty porn” or “glam porn” that Dorcel offers to a worldwide audience. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Lola Reve, the smoking hot blond beauty featured on the front cover, was up first showering before giving Manuel Ferrara a quick blowjob, her eye contact and hand to gland friction helping her slob his knob efficiently. I wouldn’t include this as a full scene by any stretch of the imagination but even though she barely took more than his head in her mouth, he bust a nut of semen very early.

Scene Two: Lola Reve, Giovanni Francesco, Ash Hollywood, Anikka Albrite, Alina Li, Bailey Blue, Coco, Romi Rain, Karla Kush (as “Kush Kush”), Britney Amber, Abby Cross, Lola Foxx, Mick Blue, Toni Ribas, Tommy Gunn, Karlo Karrera, Bill Bailey, Alan Stafford, Ritchie Calhoun, and Keni Styles, were then up in an orgy, Lola having to blow Gio to enter the room. That was done even faster and more efficiently than her first nut buster mentioned before, the gal wearing a mask (funny story provided in the BTS about it if you’re interested) before she entered the large room. From Ash dancing in bright pink pantyhose on a stage with her nipples X’ed out to a variety of paired up couples and threesomes, the performers all engaged each other as they were directed in the BTS by Manuel, who made it clear that Dorcel rules applied here, they were not allowed to “go crazy” or do anything more than look good in mostly oral, vaginal, and anal penetration positions. The rules also required that the performers stick with whomever they were supposed to fuck, Lola getting a lot of lesbian attention by Romi and Anikka, Alina joining Tommy, and Karlo being actively ridden by Bailey. Manuel did allow the performers to switch out in limited fashion but this was a far cry from the no holes barred orgies of epic proportion shot by domestic companies to lose the pretty aspects in favor of energy, enthusiasm, and passion, the condoms used by all male performers when fucking not bothering me at all. I was glad that Ash was finally allowed to fuck and some minor DP footage was allowed, Manuel slipping off with Lola for a tryst of their own upstairs rather than in front of the others and the scenes intermingled a bit. The ending showed the men unleashing wads of seed all over their partners faces, chests, and other body parts just as the final scene was warming up but it worked well enough to watch.

Scene Three: Lola Reve, all warmed up from the orgy sequence, was up last as she followed Manuel Ferrara upstairs, his selected partners cast aside so he could savor her all to his own self. He fingered her perfect pucker and gobbled her gash, the sexy blond rubbing his package before some passionate kissing led her to aggressively slob his knob more freely than before. Her eye contact was superior here and he drilled her bald beaver like crazy before they switched to anal, the gal sitting on his face and otherwise doing more oral before the minimal anal drained his dragon all over her face, his sperm flying out wildly.

Summary: The Orgy Initiation of Lola by director Manuel Ferrara for Marc Dorcel was on the short side at about 90 minutes but it did a good job of looking like the rest of the “pretty porn” Dorcel is known for providing. In terms of feature elements it lacked much of a story and the limitations of the orgy, the main scene of the show, lowered the replay value for most audiences other than complete newcomers to porn, none of the individual trysts followed long enough to maximize the heat of the pairings though there was a lot to look at. So while it looked good, the The Orgy Initiation of Lola was less filling in terms of replay value or strokability, distributor Wicked Pictures offering vastly superior feature elements in their own flicks and better orgies back in the day so I rated this as a provisional Rent It, knowing full well that devoted fans of the Marc Dorcel’s brand of porn will love anything labeled as such but my review is for a general audience that would likely find this on the generic side despite Lola Reve’s smoking hot body and face.
