Audio/Video Quality: My Wife's Hot Friend Vol. 4 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as apparently shot by uncredited director(s) for Naughty America using the MPEG-2 standard definition codec using 480p resolution. The lighting was decent in most of the scenes, limiting the amount of grain and other visual noise the movie provided compared to some earlier releases by the company. There were very few compression artifacts and the visual aspects of the movie were pretty good here but the encoding showed a fair bitrate (typically in the lower 3.3 Mbps range) and the picture reflected that fact. The composition of the angles and shots favored the ladies reasonably well and that elevated the quality of the visual presentation more than a little bit from what I've seen in the past. The men were all excluded from getting as much screen time here but there did appear to be an attempt to get better male talent to compliment the ladies. The audio was presented in 2.0 stereo English with a sampling rate of 48 kHz but I heard no separation between the channels and if the vocals were recorded in anything but monaural, I'd be very surprised. There was no music on hand to interfere with the vocals though so there was that benefit but the microphone seemed to be too far away as the vocals were hollow and echoed throughout the set.

Body of Review: Naughty America is one of those internet companies that has been around for awhile, focusing on shooting a variety of series to fulfill market niches with their scores of performer-turned-directors such as Christian and Eric Masterson shooting scenes. While I am no expert on the company, their latest title making it to me, My Wife's Hot Friend Vol. 4, sure showed a lot of potential given how lovely Courtney Cummz was featured on the front cover (the gal having been under contract elsewhere forever). The concept of the vignettes was simple this time, each scene featured a female tentatively friends with an unseen wife, the husband's taking advantage of golden opportunities to nail them after some sexual tension had built up. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Courtney Cummz, the cute babe on the front cover, was snooping on her friend's with her binocular, Mark Davis explaining how the women visiting him were strictly business in the 22:34 minute long scene. In short, My Wife's Hot Friend Vol. 4 had several fine performances hampered largely by the technical values and lack of creative inspiration but they will get the job done if you catch my drift. In my estimation, the polishing up of this type of production really shouldn't take a whole lot of effort so I look forward to future outings where they shine even more.
