Audio/Video Quality: MILF Thing 7 was presented in an anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 widescreen color the movie was shot in by director Chris Rolie for Jules Jordan Video in the MPEG-2 codec used for standard definition releases (including 480i resolution). There was some variation in the lighting that added additional grain but I saw a few other issues as the camera kept an active stance at providing the best angles to showcase the ladies (the shaking camera bugging me a bit more than I liked). The editing did not help in this endeavor either with a movie as long as this one needing extra care to make sure that there is enough tease but also heated sexual antics, my initial impression being that there was less tease footage than usual which admittedly hurt the rating. The bitrate was on the low side (probably due to the single disc nature of the production) yet there were few obvious compression artifacts, the haloing minimal and given the sheer amount of quality footage on display, most fans will be quite happy. The bitrate hovered all over the place this time, higher than usual with most of the movie in the 4.3 Mbps range, but varying across the board depending on the scene. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (at 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering that really didn't use any separation in terms of the vocals (there was some potential to do so here too). The dynamic range was also kind of generic, an area that seemed slightly better than earlier efforts and an area that Raul could easily improve to make best use of the great many home theaters in the hands of porn fans everywhere.

Body of Review: Chris Rolie shoots under a couple of aliases (Raul Cristian being the most prominent), his distribution deal with Jules Jordan Video offering some of his very best work. I picked up MILF Thing 7: Made In L.A. to review when I read the cast included Lisa Ann, Julia Ann, and India Summer, though some of the others included in the lengthy double disc set were worthy of checking out too. The main selling point this time was how the scenes were shot in Los Angeles in live fashion, the cast of popular MILFs certainly not hurting the appeal either. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Betty Cane

Scene One: Lisa Ann, the featured hotty on the front cover, was up first on the double disc title, prancing around in her black dress even though it came off fairly quickly. The replay value and strokability were pretty solidly defined so fans of MILF action that isn’t all lovey-dovey will probably appreciate it most. In short, MILF Thing 7 might not appeal to everyone out there into porn but if you like more experienced ladies such as Lisa Ann, Julia Ann, and India Summer, you could do far, far worse than this one so check it out already.
