Audio/Video Quality: Teases & Pleases 2 was presented in a 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color it was shot in by director B. Skow (credited on the box though the opening credits shared the honor with Mr. Pete and Shylar Cobi) for Vivid Entertainmentusing the standard definition MPEG-2 codec in 480 resolution for this DVD. The lighting was well handled and this added to the pleasure of watching the gals in play as the lengthy scenes gave them enough freedom to explore their sexuality. The composition of the camera angles was almost always optimal this time, Skow seeing fit to try and enhance the look of the ladies at every turn as possible, the minor grain not bothering me nearly as much as it could have in less capable hands. The fleshtones were usually accurate too and the DVD mastering was okay (the bitrate hovering around 3.0 Mbps), even if the lighting was off at times (the company watermark will be bothersome to some out there but only some given its location). The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in 256 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering with the vocals sounding flat and the music pretty decent. The aural qualities of the movie appeared to offer very limited separation and dynamic range, the vocals easily heard in most cases and mixed in with the ambient noises fairly well.

Body of Review: B. Skow and Vivid Entertainment have been almost synonymous with the term “quality porn” for the last several years, the director usually bringing out the best in those he captures in action. His latest flick is called Teases & Pleases 2, the cover clearly stating he was in charge of the six scenes yet the opening credits causing me some concerns. My issue going into this one was that it was apparent that the scenes came from over a year’s spread and then had at least two other directors credited at the beginning. When the cover hype and the credits clash, it almost always means the title was slapped together out of scenes originally slated for other projects, look at the first volume in the series to see what I mean. Still, the lengthy release had some of my favorite ladies at play including Lily LaBeau, Alexis Texas, and Sara Jay (in a relatively rare on camera performance now that she generally confines her work to meeting lots and lots of fans across the country) so I bit my lip and figured that if there was as much tease as Skow tends to include in his better movies, I’d be okay with it. The back cover described the movie like this: “Part two in the famous B. Skow "Tease and Please" style. Featuring smokin' hot Lily La Beau in two scenes, first teasing Lee Stone in her office before she takes his huge cock right at her desk. The probability this was a collection of completely unrelated scenes was high and the layer change was abrupt enough that it scrambled my computer’s DVD player when I finished watching the movie and needed some screen captures yet the replay value was there and I admit my initial concerns were allayed by the time the lengthy fuck flick was over. In short, Teases & Pleases 2 was not generally the kind of production I associate with Vivid but as an all sex romp with at least a little tease in all the scenes, it merited giving it a chance so give this one a look and see what the buzz is all about.
