Extras: The extras were all included on the second disc, starting off with 3:43 minutes of Bloopers, almost 18 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage, a funny (though very short, clocking in around a minute) bit of “Ralph’s Sex Sounds” used in the movie during the ending POV scene, and then an 11 minute long non-sex version of the movie. There was then a full length version of the movie in Black & White, a couple of photogalleries, trailers, and a free DVD offer as well as spam.

Audio/Video Quality: The Honeymoaners was presented in a crisp, anamorphic 1.78:1 ratio widescreen as shot by director Lee Roy Myers for Dream Zone Entertainment. The feature/parody elements were mighty short this time but overall seemed to be handled quite well, the sexual exploits shown very nicely with good camera work, lighting, and attention to detail. The editing was also well done, the minimalist sets and art direction probably a good choice considering the source material (the original mainstream show was not exactly elaborate in terms of sets), and the overall feel of the tribute parody was on the slight side but better than many other attempts in the genre. The bitrate varied but it was pretty decent looking, the opening (and closing) graphics a nice touch too. The audio was the usual stereo English with a laugh track as appropriate, the canned laughter varied like the original versus the generic version used by weaker (and larger) companies. The separation and dynamic range of the vocals and score were limited but it was fitting for the show given the history of the program from so long ago.

Body of Review: Lee Roy Myers is one of the best parody directors in all of porn, his many award winning (as well as nominated) fuck flicks showing good porn parodies can be done on a budget. His latest release making it my way for review from Dream Zone Entertainment is called The Honeymoaners: A XXX Parody, the tribute to one of the founding television situation comedies well done. The story involved Ralph getting picked to appear on a game show, those around him doing their best to help him win the jackpot, the sex definitely taking center stage this time in terms of footage from the show. Lily LaBeau, Aiden Starr, Katie St. Ives, Misty Stone, and Kristina Rose were all present to insure a sexual good time, Peter O’Tool doing a fine job as protagonist Ralph Kramden. The back cover described the movie like this: “Ralph Kramden, everybody's favorite lovable loser, will finally get his chance to change his luck as a contestant on the television quiz show, "The $69,000 Question." After overhearing the category of questions which will test his knowledge, Ralph turns to his best friend Norton to teach him everything he knows about... sex! Together the boisterous big guy and sex-witted sidekick study their local horny hookers, slutty neighbor, and even their wild wives, Alice and Trixie. Will Ralph finally hit the jackpot? Or will he be left holding his own buzzer?” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Lily LaBeau, the sexy little blond standing on the far left side of the front cover (behind Aiden who was bent over), was up first as part of the game show cast. Looking contemporary to the times, she leaned over to kiss host Rocco Reed, the laugh track left behind as they embraced as they kissed, the gal rubbing his package until he decided to do something about it. He first removed her dress and she knelt down before him to slob his knob in an assertive fashion. The no-hands hummer (at times she used her hand but not always) was delightful to watch and showed ample enthusiasm, her eye contact superior leading to some active vaginal riding positions. Scene Two: Aiden “Trixie” Starr, the cute little babe bending over on the far left side of the front cover, was up next with Anthony “Ed” Rosano, in bed. Her lingerie enhanced her physical appeal and her tits were as perky as ever, Anthony chowing down on her pussy ad she moaned in delight. This was another case where some modest chemistry helped make it worth checking out, her hand assisted blowjob and titty fuck leading to a very active set of vaginal penetration positions. She was loud and proud about her enjoyment here and used her feet to jerk him off a time or two, Anthony rubbing out a load of population pudding to her chest to finish it up as she massaged his seed into her tits and tasted it.

The Special Effects

Scene Three: Misty Stone, the fine young black lady featured on the front cover, was up next as she masturbated on the couch while Ed and Ralph watched. She threw herself into the action and used a lot of dirty talk, plunging a pink vibrator into herself until she came (loudly).

Scene Four: Katie St. Ives, the cutie brunette seen on the far right side of the front cover, was up next with Bill Bailey in the living room, the two putting on a show so Ralph could win the contest the following day. They made out at length in the background and when the regulars left the setting, started to disrobe, their kissing and caresses leading to some boob play and oral by both of them. Katie was very vocal but initially passive during the vaginal sex positions, doing much better in the cowgirl variations as she impaled herself soundly. The Extras

Scene Five: Kristina “Alice” Rose, the foxy little brunette in red striped dress on the center of the front cover, was up last in a POV scene where she rewarded Ralph with sex. While her sex partner was really Anthony Rosano, the impression was that she was giving her hubby some loving because at least he tried. The POV cunnilingus was a bit awkward and the resulting blowjob looked fake (making the thin guy look as huge as Peter in the belly just did not work), but Kristina gave a wonderfully active hummer and vaginal ride. Her ass cheeks rippled and she was as toned as I have ever seen her, the small wad of spew landing all over her upper torso.

Summary: The Honeymoaners by director Lee Roy Myers for Dream Zone Entertainment benefitted greatly by the inclusion of Peter O’Tool as Ralph and Anthony Rosano as his best pal Ed but the rest of the roles were definitely a mixed batch. The limits of the movie were mostly related to how little feature/parody elements were included (the non-sex version, including credits, was 11 minutes long) but the sex was pretty solid in most cases so I rated it as Recommended. In short, The Honeymoaners: A XXX Parody was fun, strokable, and had some replay value worth mentioning, the extras among the best I could have hoped for given the current economy and I have to say it again, Lee Roy Myers pulled this one off better than most of his peers could have on such a low budget.
