Overall Thoughts:

Last year I was way late on seeing Graham's last movie, Portrait of a Call Girl, but luckily I came home from Vegas with a Blu-ray copy and I couldn't wait to check it out.  And when I heard talks of a new movie, I knew I had to make sure and not be late to this party. My anticipation grew, when I heard that Lily Carter was involved, and with another lovely Lily, Miss Labeau as her co-star. One of my fellow reviewers Don, got his hands on this one first and gave it our highest rating. It's now my turn to share my thoughts on this one.

After watching this, I am sad to hear that Lily doesn't want to do anymore movies like this (from the podcast), she was great in this film and maybe if she comes away with a few awards this year that will change her mind.

Porn has gone way past the normal pizza guy tropes (still enjoy those), giving us some great features with some story and substance, and if this is the direction we are going, I can't wait to see what's next.If you want a little more substance to your porn, this is just what the doctor ordered. This may not appeal to everyone, but with most great movies, there always seems to be a divivde for those for/against a movie, but that's what makes movies so much fun, people can get different things from the same movie. And if you think that the sex scenes are not long enough, well guess what, they added extended scenes in the special features, 133 minutes total. But I will say that there is enough in the movie to keep you excited and waiting to see what is next. Both Lily's are sexy as hell, and show off their sexual sides along with their acting in this movie, some great heartfelt monologues from them throughout the movies, most seem to be given by Miss Carter. Elegant Angel has shown that they are not just a gonzo company, they have expanded into the g/g genre and the features like this. Other studios should take notes and be prepared to raise the bar to meet these releases from Elegant Angel.

We get a nice mix of a haunting score, along with some great lighting, which gives this an amazing look and feel to the movie. And that is why I mentioned the people shooting film at the top of this review, they deserve some attention too.  Both hopeful and bright, along with dark and dirty. Fingers crossed we get a Blu-ray transfer of this.

As Graham states in his interview, this movie is all about connections, it's been 5 years for these girls, but a lot has changed in that time, for better or worse. But sometimes being apart is best for both parties, but sometimes it's good to reconnect and remember both the good and bad times.

As I wrap up this love fest for this movie, it should be no surprise that I am going to be give this masterpiece our highest rating, an XCRITIC PICK. Everyone involved in this movie, from both the cast crew deserves some attention for this movie, and I am sure that attention will include a few awards and accolades. We get a great story, great cast, some great sex, and some great camera work, it's nice to see that some people are able to showcase the scene in just the right light, to enhance the mood and feel, and not have the camera stuck on someone's elbow for a few seconds, as they try to catch up. And there is no shortage of special features for you to enjoy, and with the extended sex scenes, I am sure you will get plenty for enjoyment and excitement.

This may not be your thing, when it comes to your porn taste, but this at least deserves a shot to blow your mind, and hopefully you will enjoy the ride. I certainly did.
