Audio/Video Quality: Anal Students was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Grazer for Elegant Angel using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases with a 480i resolution. The lighting was strong, eliminating the shadows and grain like most of Mick's works in the past, adjusting comfortably to his role as director for the company, this being a POV fuck flick. The grain was minimal and I got the impression that Mick spent some time to use the camera angles to enhance the looks of the nicely made up ladies, their tits always the focal point of the action. The bitrate tended to hover around the mid 3.8 Mbps area most of the time I paid any attention to it, the opening tease sessions looking like they were much lower resolution and frame rate for some reason. The composition of the scenes enhanced the look of the ladies, providing each with some nod to their relative strengths, the editing by Bruce Carter cleaning up the footage nicely into a series of nicely honed clips. The sole audio track was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a 256 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, the aural experience fairly limited due to the nature of the gonzo shoot. There was also no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was as truncated as ever, standard gonzo audio being okay for most consumers. The music was decent again too, the tease portions of the scene the only time when it was noticed.

Body of Review: Grazer is the directing name of Mick Blue when he shoots for Elegant Angel, his first few attempts showing something of an upgrade over many of his previous works. The likable fellow is generally considered one of the better male performers and his work behind the camera has been developing favorably for some time, resulting in a movie like Anal Students. This gonzo release has five lengthy scenes full of tease and hardcore action, Mick jumping into some scenes (to do Katie Summers and Laura Crystal) while his friends did Lily Carter, Chastity Lynn, and Ashlynn Leigh. I expected that each scene would include anal sex, be done by younger women who were not proficient in the act of back door banging, and that the technical values would be as high end as always given the company. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Laura Crystal

Scene One: Katie Summers, a skinny Texan with bleach blond hair, was up first as she teased in a modern living room while wearing black and pink lingerie. Summary: Anal Students by director Grazer for Elegant Angel earned a rating of Recommended from me thanks to the casting, general quality of anal penetration, and the strokability of the provided footage. For the most part, the casting and advertised action were exactly what I expected, the minor technical issues barely enough to worry about (if short of what one gets from Nutsack or Mason’s better efforts) so I felt it was worth picking up. In short, Anal Workout did not just focus on shot out performers as so many titles elsewhere seem so willing to do, nor did it try to come across as some romantic couples show, Mick making sure that all the basics were covered so give it a look if you’re into younger ladies engaging in anal sex.
