Extras: The best extra is going to be the bonus scene shot specifically for this production where Jenna “Spiderwoman” Presley engages in some sexual play with Evan “Thor” Stone for 16:41 minutes, his alternate take of the character not quite as serious but the sexual action at least as good. The next best extra was the 25:36 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, introducing the cast and concept. There was then a 16:19 minute long non-sex version of the movie, a photogallery, some trailers, the usual spam and other extras offered on a Vivid production.

Audio/Video Quality: Avengers XXX was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Axel Braun for distribution by Vivid Entertainment. This time, Axel handled art direction, wisely placing Eli Cross in the role of videographer, Kylie Ireland as Art Director, and Axel assisting Claudia Ross on editing. The visuals looked great with a handful of green screen effects. The audio was presented in a basic 2.0 Dolby Digital with a 48 kHz sampling rate and 192 Kbps aural bitrate, the vocals clearly heard regardless of the situation. The musical interludes sounded appropriate to the situations but this did not seem as big budget as Spiderman XXX or Star Wars XXX by any stretch of the imagination, the sound editing by Brenda Blossom adding some nice touches too. Overall, it was still a talented blending of audio and visual elements to add to Axel’s parody resume.

Unlike all other parodies, in this one Ironman did not get laid

Body of Review: Axel Braun has been acknowledged as one of the top porn parody directors by most credible sources, his current distribution deal with Vivid Entertainment providing what is sure to win awards with the recent Star Wars XXX but also jumpstarting the quality superhero parodies like Spiderman XXX too. In that line of thought, he now offers Avengers XXX: A Porn Parody, the Marvel Comics hero group given a decidedly different take from the mainstream blockbuster making so many waves of late (reportedly bringing in more at the box office than any other flick, ever!). The background of the original comic team is a group of heroes joined forces to fight particularly nasty threats to Earth, the rotating line up making sure a wide variety of costumed vigilantes participated in their antics. Naysayers might claim they were just Marvel’s answer to DC’s The Justice League of America (which was tied to the earlier Justice Society and other groups) but whatever your take, grouping up people provides many opportunities (and unlike the Justice League, the Avengers typically had more than a single broad around at any given time).

Phoenix Marie

While the mainstream version of the movie was an origin based story, this pornified outing takes for granted the groups existence, a small plot about capturing the ever menacing Hulk (Jordan Lane) and included cameos by Spiderman (Xander Corvus) and Black Widow (Brooklyn Lee also reprising her role). Given that the story elements were given short shrift this time, clocking in at barely 15 minutes, the emphasis was on some superhero lovin’ in costume, my biggest fret being the relative lack of taking some opportunities to showcase the possibilities (if handled in a spoofing format, tossing in some nods to the powers as a goof or if taken the dramatic way, the results of incredibly powerful beings boning; ie: see mainstream’s “Hancock” in the deleted scenes for a jab at both). In any case, the cosplay of having performers fuck in costume have already proven to excite the comic crowd, even a guy like me that hasn’t kept up with the elements in over twenty years, making whatever CGI and nods to the material well worth the effort. Of interest was the fact that the light story essentially set up a sequel more than anything else, my prediction that this parody will be another company smash hit drawing in a lot of fans to enjoy what takes place. This was a porn ensemble styled movie too, most of the ladies only getting a single scene (or, in Lexi’s case, a lesbian tryst as well as a second scene involving a cock) but other than lacking an all cast orgy at the end, it should suit just about any genre fan.

The back cover described the show like this: “After the extraordinary success of Spider-Man XXX, award-winning director Axel Braun and world leader Vivid Entertainment join forces once again for a new high-budget, sexy, superhero-themed spoof. Featuring the most complete Avengers line-up ever brought to the screen, and all the painstaking attention to detail that fans have come to expect from Braun's work, The Avengers XXX is another delightfully entertaining labor of love that will please even the most hardcore comic book fans...in more ways than one.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Chyna

Scene One: Brooklyn “Black Widow” Lee, the sexy hot redhead reprising her role from Spiderman XXX, was up in the barracks to engage with Eric “Hawkeye” Masterson, this not his first bout working for Vivid in a costume (though that was a spoof and long ago) either. He was in his character accurate outfit and she was in that great skintight outfit so many people adored previously, every fine curve of her figure looking great under the material. They kissed and she gave him a short but heated hummer, the knob slobbing action long enough to get him rock hard for her to vaginally impale herself with, additional oral included at no extra cost. Of all the scenes, this one seemed least defined at taking advantage of some possibilities, my appreciation for lipstick lesbian work long established but left somewhat unsatisfied. They did look good though and kept their costumes on for the most part, this alone elevating the tryst for many of the fanboys out there wanting to see them go at it.

Jenna Presley

Scene Four: Chyna/She-Hulk, the big green gal seen on the right side of the front cover, was up next as she took on sulking Brendon “Thor” Miller. Physically, she looked like the character more than I think I expected, the only truly annoying aspect of her body paint being how it was not consistently applied and a big spot missing above her right eye. Minor quibbles aside, they kissed, he fingered her, and he then shared his royal scepter with her for a talented blowjob. This led to some active porking of her pussy, her big boobs never freed for playing with though he did manage to douse her with population pudding to her waiting mouth as she looked up to him.

Scene Five: Lexi “Ms. Marvel” Swallow, still in costume, was up last sucking off Xander “Spiderman” Corvus after relaying her concerns about his existing image problem. Summary: Avengers XXX by director Axel Braun for Vivid Entertainment merited a rating of Highly Recommended or better depending on what you are looking for in a superhero porn parody. There was a good selection of curvy babes like Brooklyn Lee, Phoenix Marie, Lexi Swallow, Danni Cole, and even Chyna, the bonus scene starring big breasted Jenna Presley also worth checking out when you get the chance. For the record, I only had a check disc version of this double disc set so the extras were presumably subject to change but I don’t expect there to be another cool comic book like the Spiderman XXX parody included, the extras still surpassing a great many recent parodies as the industry becomes more compact. In short, Avengers XXX A Porn Parody will likely satisfy the super heroine cravings of comic book fans new and old alike, the movie taking the “sex is vastly more important than story” dynamic rather than spend valuable time devoted to a story most people won’t watch but a single time so check it out.
