Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color in all but two scenes. While some scenes were really grainy and others used too much slow motion and/or mood lighting, the vast majority of these scenes looked really good. I saw no compression artifacts and the minimal video noise in the rest of the scenes wasn't a problem for me. The audio was presented in the typical 2.0 Dolby Digital English (with options for other languages and subtitles). There was some dubbing and a few tracks where the music was too loud but otherwise it was a solidly produced audio track too.

Body of Review: Compilations are becoming more frequent these days since consumers are demanding a sharper focus on the types of action they want. If we're in a mood for watching a performer, like Jody Moore, we don't want to see other, lesser women in action, just like if we want to see shows focusing on Asian Women, we don't want to see White or other types. Private Pictures makes some really great porn and their compilations are often top notch, winning awards (from DVD Talk for example) and others. Their latest release is a collection of Lesbian scenes from over the years called, The Best Of Lesbian Games. The movie had 14 scenes of rug-munching fun with a host of hot looking gals who often seemed into the action. If this sounds good to you, read the following scene description as broken down by title, director, date of production and cast:

Scene One: Hot Shopping (Private Reality 13): D-Andrew Youngman and John Walton, 8/02:
Lora, May, and Sandra had a lesbian scene outdoors in a gazebo. Toys
were used and a strap on dildo to the ass on one of them. This was not the best scene
here but okay to watch once and the production values were really high quality.

Scene Two: Amanda's Diary 4: D-John Millerman, 1/99: Cassandra and Monique, a couple of curvy blondes with faces many models would envy, had a scene in a bed. The sex centered on licking but a couple of vibrators were used too. It was erotic and warm as opposed to blazing hot.

Scene Three: Sticky: D-Jean Yves LeCastel, 12/01: Patricia and Betty, a couple of hot looking babes that were starkly contrasted with one being blonde and the other brunette, had a scene on a couch together. Each had what amount to a perfect body for those that like women lean and natural, and the scene focused on licking and rubbing without any toys whatsoever. It was really fun to watch these two go at it.

Scene Four: Faust: The Power Of Sex: D-Jose Maria Ponce, 8/01: Sophie, Mandy, Jazmin and Mia, had a scene from the wild and devilish adventure of Faust. My biggest complaint on this one was the very short length. Otherwise, the fetish-tinged action, with lots of toys and moody lighting made this one a nice change of pace from the more erotic action of previous scenes. It was also shot in widescreen, which a lot of fans appreciate.

Scene Five: Your Time Is Up: D-Barry Wood, 4/02: Jenna, Tanya and Sindee were in a rare (from Private) scene using American performers and stylish photography with lots of slow motion for those who enjoy it. I liked Sindee and Jenna's outfits and the action looked pretty interesting but the limitations of the style used made it hit or miss with me. (I really have to be in a mood to enjoy the over-produced styles Wood was going for.)

Scene Six: Cuntry Club: D-Kovi, 7/98: Ursula and Dorothy started off their scene by lifting weights in a small gym. Neither of them is the most attractive gal in the show but they had the lean look so many fans appreciate. I wish I could tell you more but the scene locked up at 58:53 on my player and I had to restart my machine to watch it. There was some toy use and licking but nothing special.

Scene Seven: Reality 12: Dangerous Girls: D-Little Al, 5/02: Jody, Bobbi, and Claudia, all three very hot looking blondes, had a lesbian scene in a loft as they took a study break. If any one of them had been my study buddy, I'd have flunked out of college a long time ago (and not have cared one little bit). Yum!

Scene Eight: Private Cafe: D-Xavi Dominguez, 3/02: Sugar and Sophie had a scene in a bed when Sophie woke her pal up with a kiss. It was very tender and erotic although it heated up quite quickly. They did use a vibrator towards the end of the short scene but it didn't get in the way as the focus of attention. This wasn't a bad scene either.

Scene Nine: The Other Face Of Pleasure: D-Antonio Adamo, 2/02: Jody took on Cleare by an outdoor pool. The scene was too short and the music too loud so it doesn't matter much anyway. It was fair sex at best but they looked good in the natural light and Jody was especially tasty looking.

Scene Ten: Reality 9: Do Not Disturb: D-Andrew Youngman & John Walton, 2/02: Sandra, Jennyfer and Sandy, with the two lovely blondes joined on the couch by their brunette friend after warming up a bit orally. The toys then came out and the gals seemed to enjoy themselves a lot.

Scene Eleven: Tanya Hyde's London Calling: D-Tanya Hyde, 8/99: Monique and Bettina had a short scene wear they were dressed in fetish attire in a dungeon and used toys to get off. The lighting and grain were horrible but I understand the artistic license used here to achieve a particular effect. The strap-on dildo use was pretty hot as was the sex swing but the overall scene was pretty limited for me.

Scene Twelve: Virgin Treasures: D-Frank Thring, 2/94: Sidonie, Erika, and Kathy, all wearing patriotic swimsuits, started their scene on the porch of a great looking house on a lake (it looked like a lake but it could've been the ocean). They made out and otherwise warmed up before the vibrators came out to fill up the holes. It was a pretty decent scene that looked much newer than the listed production date would have me believe.

Scene Thirteen: Tropical Heat: D-Alessandro Del Mar, 6/02: Sheena and Kyra, a couple of European blondes (bleach blondes though), had a scene on the deck of a small boat at sea. Their perfectly tanned, lean bodies were great and they had a scene not marred by toys. They also spent a lot of time kissing, which many fans appreciate.

Scene Fourteen: Moto XXX: Gazzman, 11/02: Jesse and Laurie had a scene in a grounded helicopter. Lesbian scenes are tough to make truly hot sometimes but this was pretty well done. Mostly licking and fingers but one small vibrator was used. Warmish.

Summary: I'm going to rate this one as Highly Recommended based on the cast, the amount of high quality fuck for your buck, and the variety of styles used to make sure there was something for almost everyone. I really appreciated the credits for each scene being listed on the scene selection page as well as the production notes because this would've been difficult to compile otherwise. I just wish Private would do this for all its movies in the future. The attractive gals, the erotic to hot sex and the entire production (except for the lock up in one scene) made this a real winner.
