The cameraman cast his shadow across the girls' bodies, there's a great deal of pixelized video, some of the shots are out of focus, and there are color balance problems. On the plus side, the cameraman knows what we want to see and shows it to us. And, there are very few edits to destroy continuity during the scenes. Three stars.

Audio (technical): There is a great deal of obtrusive ambient noise--especially airplane noise--during the scenes. In several cases, we cannot hear director Steve Austin from behind the camera when he talks to the girls. Some scenes have a musical soundtrack that never becomes objectionably loud. If you don't want any music, there is a menu you can use to turn the music off--or back on again. You can use the same menu to choose to listen to running commentary by Isis Love as she observes the action in three scenes. Three and one-half stars.

Extras: The Extras include additional footage of Victoria Lan, a self-running Slide Show, trailers for six Madness Pictures movies, and website links. Three stars.

Aesthetics: Very little--if any--thought was given to aesthetics when 12 Nasty Girls Masturbating 6 was shot. Some of the scenes were shot in reasonably nice surroundings while others were shot in quite ordinary--and somewhat cluttered--locations. Some music accompanies the on-screen action, but it is not particularly well chosen and it doesn't seem to have been chosen to enhance the sex. Three stars
