Audio/Video Quality: Big Wet Asses 24 was presented in a crisp 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as released by director Dreadneck (another name for Derek Dozer) for Elegant Angel. The lighting was plentiful and the general camera work was good though there were times when it shook like something was up and the footage not edited out (given some of the special effects, it was not certain this was not intentional). Otherwise, the editing by “CD” (Craig Daze, formerly associated with Tom Byron productions)provided a very polished look and emulated the previous incarnations of the company lineup quite well. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases, the music not credited this time.

Body of Review: Dreadneck is a director at Elegant Angel that works elsewhere under the name Derek Dozer, the second flick of his for the company that I have been handed to review called Big Wet Asses 24, a long time company flagship title. Unlike most previous efforts in the series, this is a modest single disc title with four new scenes but what was lacking in quantity was made up for in quality as it starred ladies including Chanel Preston, Layla Price, Nikki Delano, and Tori Avano. While the series has evolved over the years, it has inspired a great many copycats, even previous directors taking the basic formula with them as they have prospered around the industry, the popular teasing outside by a pool while having lots of oil and water sprayed on the performers before they then engaged in various carnal acts that also included more of the oil. In short, it’s pretty difficult to fuck this kind of thing up as long as the producer picks quality women with big juicy asses and the ladies act like they give a fuck. My favorite here was Layla Price, the gal making waves in a variety of big ticket titles of late, and Chanel Preston is perhaps the best known member of the cast for a reason, Tori Avano and Nikki Delano both providing the kind of performances they are known for as well for fans to appreciate. In short, Big Wet Asses 24 took some liberties with the original formula that served the company so well for so long, the related extras on the light side not helping much either, but all of that could be easily fixed for a future volume to an even better rating so check this one out.
