Skow and Nate Liquor on camera, Jack Freedom on editing and special effects, and the usual crew that B. Skow used when he was credited as director, the capable staff capturing the visuals in an artistic manner regardless of who was truly at the helm. That said, the lighting was not consistently strong in most cases as it appears an artistic leaning was applied, the camera movements a bit jumpy, and some of the compositional work different than usual. The flesh tones were generally well handled though there did appear to be some issues with getting the multiple ethnicities caught equally well, the company watermark in the lower right hand corner not especially noticeable in the majority of scenes (for me at least). The 2.0 Dolby Digital English was included at 256 Kbps, the company standard these days, and the vocals took the prime spot in the mix over ambient noises and music.

Body of Review: Kimberly Kane has directed a small number of movies for Vivid Entertainment over the years, typically associating her works with the “alt-porn” movement that died out a few years back. Lately, she has been focusing on staying in front of the camera, her latest release working on both sides being Allie Haze’s Been Blackmaled. As with previous volumes in the series I’ve reviewed, the emphasis was on interracial sexual trysts, the prime target of the men this time being cover cutie Allie Haze. Of the five scenes in the all sex fuck flick, Allie was in three of them, Kimberly and Dana providing some backup in additional scenes. The back cover described the movie like this: “Allie Haze is filled with dark fantasies and Kimberly Kane loves that! Summary: Allie Haze’s Been Blackmaled by director Kimberly Kane for Vivid Entertainment was not as strong an entry into the series as previous volumes but it merited a rating of Recommended all the same, the strength of some scenes more than enough to make up for the weaker trysts. Kimberly Kane was best used in front of the camera and fans of Allie Haze will definitely want to pick up a copy for their collections, the extras containing a previously released bonus scene but not the listed BTS feature from the ending credits surprising me. In short, Allie Haze’s Been Blackmaled comes out this week and fans of interracial action should find enough to merit giving it their undivided attention, Allie Haze certainly cute enough to garner some applause for stretching her limits like her pussy and mouth were in the scenes.
