Aliens visit a small town in the desert and frighten local inhabitants with "probing" them sexually. While pundits and "talking heads" attempt to make sense of the phenomenon, people try to carry on their daily lives.
While Kimberly Kane and her dad listen to news reports highlighting the occurrences, Kimberly's sister, played by Kirsten Price, fucks her boyfriend (Barrett Blade) in the bed of his decrepit pickup truck. Sadly, the aliens arrive while Kirsten and Barrett are enjoying their after-sex glow. Barrett is burned to a crisp and, after running for her life in vain, Kirsten is abducted.
Kimberly senses her sister's dismay and awakens from a deep sleep. Anxious, she steps outside for a smoke and witnesses a streak of light across the sky. Kimberly knows something is awry--she feels it in every fiber of her body. However, before she has a chance to unravel the mystery, her husband (Evan Stone) comes home from an out-of-town work trip. Of course, Kimberly and Evan celebrate their reunion with a little intense in-and-out action.
Hours after Barrett is stricken by the aliens, a group of friends heads out to the woods to kick back and relax around a fire while telling scary stories. Eventually, the friends break off into three couples, go for walks, and end up fucking. After each couple finishes up, the girls are abducted. God only knows what happens to the guys!
The local police, of course, investigate the abductions and killings. They, too, end up dead.
In due course, Kimberly discovers that the man she thought was her husband--the guy who just sent her to orgasmic heaven--is one of the "visitors." She runs, but cannot escape the abductors. After she has been captured, Kimberly finds herself naked in a transparent coffin as an alien's glowing tentacle probes her magnificent pussy. Kimberly soon succumbs to the alien's touch and fucks it back as its glowing head penetrates her. Then, inexplicably, she finds herself back in her living room. Knowing that she's somehow "dirty," she takes a shower and discovers that she has been "branded." That's not the end of the story, however, Soon, the population of her entire town disappears...and then the nation?
The Visitors is an hour-and-one-half long first-class science-fiction thriller that contains about 40 minutes of plot development and 50 minutes of sex. From both the "feature" and sci-fi perspectives, the movie is very well made. The locations, sets, plot, costumes, makeup, editing, dialog, editing, and special effects are all appropriate and quite believable. In particular, Kimberly Kane's overall performance--both as an actress and as a sexual performer--are award-worthy. In fact, I'm putting her name on my list of nominations for the 2007 X-Rated Critic's Association (XRCO) "Single Performance--Actress" award. Of particular note is Kimberly's superb performance when a dildo-like alien probes her pussy. Also noteworthy is Aveena's delivery of dialog during the campfire scene.
That said, I must admit that I was quite disappointed in the sex in The Visitors. In the first place, there's way too little in-and-out action. The scenes, ranging from a minute and a half to 14 minutes, are too damned short! This is particularly disappointing when the quality of the cast is considered. Sadly, I think it's a shame that Kimberly Kane didn't get a chance to go fucking wild. Even worse, incomparable Eva Angelina, who plays one of the female townspeople, doesn't get to fuck at all! Can anybody explain to me why director Michael Raven hired Eva to be in a movie without having her perform? Don't get me wrong. The sex is not bad at all...there's just too little of it! Second, the too-short sex scenes are too mild and contain too few positions. No scene contains more than two positions! Third, one of the "sex scenes" is nothing more than a blowjob that clocks in at a mere four minutes. Fourth, there's not much of an emphasis on female orgasms in The Visitors. Of course, the guys all pop. However, isn't sex supposed to be about both partners' pleasure?
My point is this...The Visitors is a very pleasing science-fiction movie. However, it's not a very good "adult" movie. I know that it's hard to combine good plot development and acting with incendiary sex. However, adult directors need to remember that people buy porn for the sex! If I wanted to see a sci-fi movie, I'd choose Spielberg or Lucas. However, when I choose to watch an adult movie, I want to see people fuck! Don't get me wrong...I enjoy plot-based adult features if the sex is hot and steamy. Corruption and Pirates are two examples of full-blown features in which the sex is worth watching. In those movies, the sex is an integral part of the plot development. Unfortunately, the sex is more-or-less "tacked-on" to The Visitors. Scene One features Kirsten Price and Barrett Blade. Kirsten, who plays the sister of star Kimberly Kane, fucks her boyfriend Barrett outside in the bed of his pickup truck. The condom-protected scene includes a bit of foreplay, two positions, and a butt popshot. Kirsten never appears to climax. Normally, this so-so scene would have earned three and one-half stars. However, since there are only two positions, a one-half star penalty applies. Three stars.
After more than 15 minutes of plot development, Aveena Lee and Eric Masterson, two of a group of friends who head out to the woods to tell scary stories around a campfire, find an abandoned railroad car in which to fuck during Scene Two. After a few minutes of delicious foreplay, Aveena and Eric fuck in just two positions atop the seats of the old rail car. Aveena, sadly, never appears to have cum. This is a good scene that would normally rate three and one-half stars. However, since they only utilize two positions, a half-point penalty applies. Three stars.
While Aveena and Eric enjoy their liaison in the train car, Cassie Courtland and Marcos Leon, during Scene Three, remain at the campfire and make out while Eva Angelina ostensibly tries to sleep nearby. Cassie uses her hand to stroke Marcos' cock while they kiss passionately. Soon, Cassie adds her mouth to the mix and gives Marcos a combination hand/blowjob. While Cassie pleases Marcos' rod, he, in turn, squeezes handfuls of her flesh. After about four minutes, Cassie causes Marcos to spew his load all over his own belly and onto her pretty face. Don't you love it when the woman makes the guy cum? I've never been a fan of blowjob-only scenes. However, I'm even more disappointed in this quickie scene because superlative Eva Angelina remains only a few feet away from the action! What a threeway this could have been! Two stars.
Scene Four is the first really hot scene of The Visitors. In it, Keri Sable and her boyfriend Chris Evans, two of the friends who gathered around the campfire, have a fight and then enjoy makeup sex in the bed of his pickup. This multi-orgasmic boy/girl/anal scene would normally rate five stars. However, since there are only two positions...four and one-half stars!
Eventually, Kimberly Kane's husband (Evan Stone) returns from his business trip. Of course, they reunite passionately in Scene Five as they share some long-awaited lovin' in their bedroom. After some very fiery foreplay, during which Kimberly really shines, the two fuck in cowgirl and then in missionary until Kimberly cums. Had this scene lasted a little longer and featured more than two positions, it would have earned a perfect score. Sadly, the two-position penalty applies: four and one half stars!
Foreplay 1: Kissing and licking. Kimberly and Evan share a delicious and prolonged welcome-home open-mouthed kiss. Then, while he licks and gropes her body, she undulates blissfully.
Video (technical): The widescreen video is, without a doubt, mainstream quality. I also enjoyed the quality and organization of the DVD interface, the editing, the special effects, the very effective lighting (The interior and outside scenes, all night scenes, are properly color balanced and the sexual action is quite visible.), and the camerawork are all to be commended. Five stars.
Audio (technical): The Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound is extremely good in all regards. There are six soundtracks--four English (standard, music-only, dialog only, and commentary), Spanish, and German. There are also three sets of subtitles (English, Greek, and Italian). Five solid stars!
Extras: Disc One of this two DVD set contains a very nice DVD navigational interface, menus to select which of six audio tracks and/or three subtitles you prefer, and a full-motion chapter selector. Disc Two contains an impressive array of Extras organized using perhaps the most intriguing and effective DVD Extras interface I've ever seen! After you pass through a "retina scan," the opening menu allows you to choose Classified Reconnaissance, Analysis Database, Auxiliary Stimulus, or Intelligence Report. The Classified Reconnaissance feature includes behind the scenes footage, video explaining how the editors created the special effects, clips of the location being scoped out by the crew, drawings of UFOs and aliens, and an interview with director Michael Raven. The Analysis Database includes behind the scenes footage of the sex scenes, video clips of the photo shoots, a video showing how Kirsten Price's pussy and ass were molded for a sex toy (you've gotta see this!), a game that unlocks a five-minute blowjob/facial scene featuring Kirsten, and two additional full-length scenes (Kimberly Kane with Eric Masterson and Kirsten with Keri Sable). Auxiliary Stimulus includes bloopers, outtakes, deleted scenes, a featurette highlighting the music used in the movie, trailers, promo materials, DVD-ROM materials, DVD catalog, and phone sex ads. Intelligence Report contains performer bios, "pretty-girl" slide shows for each girl, still photos of each sex scene, and behind-the-scenes still photos. Although Wicked Pictures always provides the best Extras, The Visitors has among the best ever! Five stars!
Aesthetics: The visual aesthetics and production values in The Visitors are first class in every way. I particularly liked the choice of locations and the props (especially the dildo-like alien!). In addition, the wardrobe and make-up, although certainly not glamorous, aptly match the plot. The sound effects and music are extremely appropriate and expertly support the on-screen action--whether it be plot-related or sexual. Four and one-half stars.
