Audio/Video Quality: Slutty School Girls 4 was presented in a 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Juan Cuba for Combat Zone. Juan has long proven to have the ability to properly assemble a solid stroke flick, most of my experiences with his best works coming from Red Light District (the company tied to this one via family and history). My biggest complaint about the series to date has been the use of foreign talent not quite up to the task regarding the establishing dialogue, the resulting trysts typically on the weak side so I had some hope that Juan could take it up a notch. The technical aspects of the show were better but not consistent though, some excessive camera movement and quirky lighting adding to editing that might have been tighter. The use of long shots from previous works was truncated significantly, my mixed feelings about that balanced out by the otherwise decent handling the rest of the visuals provided. The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English, the vocals sounding better and easier to understand without cranking up the levels so much, still plenty of room to inject some music and/or ambient noises for future efforts.

Body of Review: Juan Cuba was one of my favorite directors at Red Light District as recently as a few years ago, his efforts at turning marginal performers into something better always appreciated. His latest work is for Combat Zone, previous company ties aside, my expectations being that Juan might again show the world how to transform youthful newcomers into sizzling starlets, his first such work being called Slutty School Girls 4. While I am not a huge fan of brand new ladies in porn, too many of them can’t fuck very well on camera, there are a few guys that “get it right” on their presentation, this series having been hit or miss for me due to the emphasis on foreign talent thrust into speaking roles they just couldn’t handle. The vignettes all revolved around youthful ladies at school, including Tristan Berrimore (in her fifth credited scene), Sayra Von (her second scene), Ranae Morgan (no scenes found at this writing), Rilynn Rae (second scene), Arial Rose (15th scene), and Kenna Kane (17th scene). Yeah, the scenes might have been quickly shot on a low budget but a few of these ladies had some potential! Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Tristan Berrimore, the native Floridian seen sported on the far left side of the front cover (partially covered up by a book), was up first as teacher Pat Myne picked her up in an SUV. Summary: Slutty School Girls 4 by director Juan Cuba for Combat Zone broke free from previous volumes in the series where a single good scene (starring a domestic “name” performer) was combined with three weaker scenes (full of foreign talent barely able to speak English) and following a more familiar path using very new talent. I think the main selling point was sure to be the use of more local talent in the limited vignettes, their rough edges likely to be worked out as they gain more experience. The resulting scenes had decent technical values, perky newcomers, and upgraded the series enough to earn a credible Recommended (or better if you adore newcomers a lot). In short, director Juan Cuba gave Slutty School Girls 4 just what it needed to stand out from previous company releases, the variety of ladies and lengthier scenes providing more fuck for the buck this time so check it out when it finally gets released.
