Audio/Video Quality: Young & Natural was shot in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Bonnie Rotten for Elegant Angel. Bonnie and Sir Ron handled the camera work, too much light washing out the look of the ladies and watering down the fleshtones. The framing cropped off heads and body parts a lot too, the editing uncredited but it was too aggressive to make portions of the scenes look jumpy. There were compression artifacts on the big screen when I watched and the resolution did not look as good as I am used to for DVD. The aural components were in stereo but the music was generic and the vocals seemed dubbed or not quite in synch at times, the usual 192 Kbps audio bitrate applied even if it didn’t sound like it.

Body of Review: Bonnie Rotten really wowed many in the industry as a performer during her first year, her over the top antics and wild personality exactly what porn needed. Of late, she has been directing for various companies, now landing at Elegant Angel for productions like the upcoming Young & Natural, the credits listing the movie as “Young Naturals”. The movie provides four scenes of young ladies with natural boobs in fairly short scenes with lower tier mopes, gals like Keisha Grey, Sydney Cole, Karlee Grey, and Whitney Westgate, the best guy of the bunch being John Strong. The extras were light and the technical aspects were really in need of improvement but I suppose expecting too much from a new director is not fair, the company faring much better with some of their other staffers. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Karlee Grey, a 21 year old Floridian with a few dozen releases to her name at this writing, was up first with John Strong, the gal sporting a hairy pubic bush in her skimpy, sheer black lingerie as she teased in the shade outside. The camera spent most of the time in close up mode rather than allowing for context, Karlee giving house stripper moves as she looked off camera for instruction. Her body was a nice balance between being built for speed or for comfort, the all too brief tease leading to John coming up behind her to tweak her nipples as she reclined on a large lounger and masturbated. He was all over her before she slobbed his knob, easily throating his turgid pecker as he held her hair, some hand to gland friction applied as she admired her effect on him. Scene Two: Keisha Grey, the curvy Florida native featured on the front cover, was up next with replacement male Nat Turner, the first choice for the scene apparently unable to make it (Nat dogged Bonnie out playfully in the BTS about it). Keisha mostly stood around outside in her sheer white bikini undies, sitting on a stone bench to remove her top though her tits were not easy to see given the abundance of lighting and camera work, the gal also looking off camera for direction at times. Keisha had a nice fleshy ass and the kind of baby fat some women in their early 20’s possess, feeling herself up until Nat walked over to a green wicker chair she was sitting in to kiss her. His hand fell to her crotch, Keisha sitting up to start blowing him with a hand assisted hummer, perhaps half of his rod making its way into her mouth. She nuzzled his nuts and jerked him off too, Nat helping her undress before they slid into a 69 that only half of which was captured before an abrupt edit to them vaginally plowing. Keisha relaxed as Nat did most of the work, the gal rubbing herself at times before pumping to meet his thrusts, her bosoms swaying as they boned. She did even better when she was on top though the lighting was problematic at times and the camera jumpy, the vaginal positions punctuated by oral as she continued to service him soundly. Scene Three: Sydney Cole, a cute blond with pretty eyes and flowing locks of hair, was up next as she teased in a bedroom in her teal bikini undies. She was thin to the point she was built for speed, the camera continually moving as if unable to linger for a moment to appreciate her good looks. While she only has about a dozen releases per the IAFD, Sydney showed some potential as she began to masturbate, Seth Gamble interrupting her to take over diddling her bald beaver and kiss her. He then licked her twat as she made exaggerated moaning noises, the gal providing some decent eye contact though I caught her glancing off camera a time or two as well (like she was being instructed). Except in certain appropriate fetish flicks, I really hate when the ladies are not having a good time, her tentative stares and matter of fact look watering down any replay value for me. She had a shaven slit and immediately dropped down to her knees to blow Will Powers when he entered the picture, the mechanical head taking about half his raging boner into her mouth as she pumped him by hand. He even skipped going down on her, pushing his modest meat stick into her pussy instead, her abundance of moans like he was large or something further stretching her credibility. As the scene progressed, the same camera work issues arose though Will did lick her very briefly, Whitney putting a slight bit of effort into the cowgirl variations before the doggy pushed him over the edge so he nutted on her face (and actually smiled!).

Summary: Young & Natural by director Bonnie Rotten for Elegant Angel wasn’t terrible but it seemed really generic for a company such as this to rely on new directors lacking the basics of lighting and camera operation, my longstanding appreciation for Bonnie as a performer aside, there was a lot of rough points here in need of smoothing out. The washed out flesh tones, unsteady panning, and framing issues bothered me the most though I’ll be the first to suggest the casting of ladies like Keisha Grey, Karlee Grey, Sydney Cole, and Whitney Westgate was a pretty solid move overall. The brevity of the scenes and technical issues lowered the rating to a still decent Rent It and I’m half curious what the fanboy squad thinks of the movie given the multitude of issues here but ultimately, Bonnie is capable of better so I look forward to seeing her polish up the next release more than this one. In short, Young & Natural had four ladies that were young and had natural bodies, the footage among the weakest I’ve seen from Elegant Angel in memory but give it a look to see what I mean and perhaps some of you will like it more.
