Audio/Video Quality: Keep It In The Family was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for Digital Sin under her new Tabu Tales line. The director of photography was Eddie Powell, no surprise there, an acknowledged expert in the field with very few peers in terms of quality production work, their collaborations together considered some of the very best the industry has to offer. Unlike a recent competitor’s title touching on a few of the same themes, this one was much more reminiscent of the classic “Taboo” series starring Kay Parker though with all the modern upgrades in cinematography. It was clear that a lot of work went into the movie and it looked really good, the editing by Gabrielle Anex and lighting helping a bunch. There was a company watermark in the lower right corner of the screen but it was very light and unobtrusive so few should complain. The aural components were well done too, the quality of the stereo English presentation combining clear vocals, appropriate ambient sounds, and a mixture of well handled musical pieces to work really well.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James and her work with Eddie Powell at Digital Sin have won many awards and been nominated for even more, sparking enough sales that the usual copycats are “borrowing” even more than usual from their idea mill. Their latest collaboration in the “Tabu Tales” line is called Keep It In The Family, each of the four scenes centered on step family trysts where both consenting partners relished the impromptu encounters, the sex flowing naturally out of every day events. Of note was the age appropriateness of the couplings, no stretches of the imagination needed here as is all too often the case elsewhere, and the personal chemistry of the couplings; the believability of the encounters such that the company placed a disclaimer on the front of the credits. With Cherie DeVille, Sara Luvv, Karmen Karma, and Presley Hart on hand, I felt it had some potential but also provided a lot of wildcards compared to previous releases in the series.

The back cover described the movie like this: “After her naive son continually mistakes her provocative behavior for harmless flirtation, a sexually frustrated stepmother unleashes a physical seduction on him that he can no longer deny. An insatiable girl, obsessed with her stepbrother, reaches a breaking point when she holds him hostage until he agrees to fuck her. When a man sets out to teach his inexperienced stepdaughter the art of pleasing a man, she quickly falls prey to his advances. A self-centered young woman finds herself blackmailed into sexual favors when her stepbrother hides her most prized possession.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Karmen Karma, a lean brunette fuck bunny with lots of tattoos, was up first after she tied up her step brother Van Wylde in order to seduce him. She kept pressing him because she wanted to get fucked by him right then, his reputation preceding him. Their encounters heated up until she threw him to the bed and demanded he fuck her, her tight purple dress bunching up over her sweet ass as she inhaled his cock orally while keeping superior eye contact. His protestations were pretty meager and ineffective given the strength of her blowjob on his resolve, the hotty stripping naked to continue as he responded like any normal guy would. Scene Three: Sara Luvv, the attractive newcomer featured on the front cover, was up next with Steven St. Croix, also on the front cover, as his intentions toward her turned sexual as she rested on the white couch. His voice over explained his actions in a somewhat creepy fashion, the guy admitting to stalking her to the audience as he knelt over to smell her hair. She was his step daughter and apparently open game, his hands pawing her when she woke up distressed at his attempts to do her. Understandably weird, he had her grab his erection and she gave a half hearted attempt to stop him before she was slobbing his knob like an experienced professional despite claiming to have “never done that before”. He coached her through the event and the camera work focused as much on him as it did on her initially, Sara removing her shorts to reveal a nearly clean shaven pussy for him to orally stimulate. While it still struck me as particularly creepy, the action reverted to a more pornish norm from there, the oral and vaginal sex fairly active and enthusiastic. Sara had ample energy to make a believer of me from that point onward, Steven’s intensity still giving him a creepy feel even by the time he doused her with spunk, the spew planted on her torso after her dirty talk pushed him over the edge.

Scene Four: Presley Hart, a perky babe with a great ass, was up last as she established her character as a narcissistic cell phone lover always taking naked pictures of herself. When she pissed off step brother Xander Corvus, he found her phone laying around and took the opportunity to make her a deal to refrain from posting her self portrait pics all over her facebook page, Presley acquiescing after almost no protesting to kneel down in front of him to start going down on him. She kept good eye contact and used both hands on his shaft as she worked the rest of it in her mouth, Xander soon pumping away as they became friends all too quickly. The blowjob had the intended effect on her so he was soon eating and fingering her on the bed, her responsiveness keeping her head down and ass in the air. They fucked with each wearing some clothing, Xander doing most of the work initially but Presley coming around a little when she was on top of him, additional oral and choking causing him to explode with a fair amount of splooge on her face rather than her shaven snatch, the gal trying to turn the tables at the end but finding no need to do so.

Summary: Keep It In The Family by director Jacky St. James for Digital Sin benefitted from the usual great casting of people that clicked together in one fashion or another, the expected high end technical values, and the scenarios that were acted well enough to stand out on that fact alone. While I would have enjoyed more sexual variety and more build up in at least two of the scenes, the overall quality was high enough to merit a rating of Recommended for me, perhaps even more if I wasn’t still so spent from the wonderful Sexual Liberation of Anna Lee. My favorite of the ladies was Cherie DeVille, her juicy ass and sensual appeal keeping me entertained during her entire tryst, but I still adored Presley Hart for all she offered as well; Sara Luvv and Karmen Karma still growing on me at this writing. In short, I liked Keep It In The Family as another fine outing in the “Tabu Tales” line, some minor polishing up of the specifics in a few cases probably would’ve been enough to boost the rating another notch so check it out if you want to see how well the porno short form can work when handled with class and originality.
