Audio/Video Quality: The Housewives of Lex Steele 2 was presented in anamorphic widescreen as credited to director Lexington Steele for Dream Zone Entertainment. Since Lex was in every scene and this wasn’t a POV movie, I would have loved to know who actually shot the footage for the scenes, the camera work substandard compared to Lex’s credited work elsewhere with Hal Capone and Kevin Moore of late. The camera angles were not always terrible but the panning was rarely smooth, the framing of the sex not centered or optimized, and the mix of close up, medium, the resolution not great and the long shots leaving something to be desired. On top of that, the editing was jumpy and the lighting was almost always weak, perhaps someone should look up the term C-light before the next outing in the series. Seriously, watch this one and then watch just released Lex Is A Mother Fucker 3 shot around the same time and you will see why technical issues matter. That said, it did not have a continuous company watermark on the screen and was hardly the worst shot fuck flick of the week. Aurally speaking, the 2.0 Dolby Digital coded audio track hardly fared much better, the hollow vocals on the very low side except when the ladies were screaming loudly, the audio almost certainly captured by the built in microphone on the videocamera. The minimalist music did not impact the rating nor did any ambient sounds, this being an area needing improvement at most companies these days.

Body of Review: Lexington Steele is one of the premiere black male performers in the porn industry these days, the man having been listed or credited as a director many times in the past. His work in front of the camera is far more consistent thanks to his genetically gifted penis but with Mother’s Day coming this weekend, I was asked to expedite a review of the upcoming Dream Zone Entertainment release of The Housewives of Lex Steele 2, so here it is. While I did not see the first volume in the series, it was pointed out to me that the title was merely an interracial housewife fuck flick, no mention of the term “MILF” here to confuse matters, none of the ladies included in the star studded cast qualifying as far as I was concerned. My biggest reason for wanting to give this one a look was for hotty Kaylynn on her latest comeback tour, Brooklyn Chase always a sexy babe, flexible Lea Lexis among the best skilled talents of late, and busty blond Nikita Von James certainly adding to the mix. The back cover described the movie like this: “Turns out, your wife loves black cock! Lea Lexis needs a private dick to catch her husband cheating, but she's cheating too! Summary: The Housewives of Lex Steele 2 by director Lexington Steele for Dream Zone Entertainment had a lot to like this time, the casting of ladies like Kaylynn and Brooklyn Chase boosting my desire to see it and the fact that Lex did not pawn any of the ladies off on lesser talent helped too. On the negative side were the limited extras and technical values, I could see why whomever worked the camera, the lighting, and the editing wanting to remain anonymous as those aspects dragged the rating down to a Rent It. I’d rather have seen Lex emulate fellow director Manuel Ferrara in the “Raw” series and simply do POV or set the camera down on the furniture than hand off to these guys again, sorry for being blunt but a lot of potential was wasted or minimized because of it. In short, The Housewives of Lex Steele 2 as a series could certainly use an upgrade on the technical side of things but otherwise appears to have the right stuff to continue, exactly why Lex is moonlighting for companies outside of his own likely to come out soon enough, the man needing to hold his staff to higher standards if he is going to be listed as director in the future. Come to see Kaylynn, Brooklyn Chase, Lea Lexis, and Nikita Von James stretching themselves out by working with Lex, just keep in mind that the picture and audio were not up to par here at all.
