Audio/Video Quality: Net Skirts 6.0 was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Dan O’Connell for Girlfriends Films to be released in this standard definition version (using the MPEG-2 codec). The video bitrate hovered around the 5.1 Mbps mark when I spot checked it but frankly, the visuals were almost always clearly captured and lit, no compression artifacts or grain noticed in my viewing. There was no company watermark and the composition of the camera angles favored the ladies, the relatively static positioning the ladies took during their sex scenes (in bed), making it easier to maintain focus and see all there was to see with what appeared to be a single camera shoot. The editing was decent too, not too jumpy or given to close ups as other companies have been of late. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a 48 kHz sampling rate with a 192 Kbps aural bitrate, the blending of vocals and music nicely done even if the dynamic range was minimal and the separation appeared modest as well. I could hear the cast during the dialogue portions of the show and there was a good basic approach to the technical aspects that worked given the subject matter.

Body of Review: Dan O’Connell is a director at Girlfriends Films, his works there much like their other directors in trying to offer an alternative to mainstream lesbian encounters (which are very often considered “gay for pay” by those in the know). His latest title released on the market is called Net Skirts 6.0, presumably an ongoing series of seductions of women by other women that are often quite arousing for anyone into seeing attractive ladies (but not cookie cutter Barbie girls) going at one another sexually. My main reason for selecting this one to review was the inclusion of Katsuni, the Asian babe now out of her restrictive contract, but also to check out curvy Jelena Jensen, Kayla Paige, and others getting off here, none of them disposable as spank bank fodder in my book. The four trysts followed a familiar dynamic and as I’ve pointed out in the past, seeing too many movies from the company at the same time might prove boring but for the nuances offered up, they tend to showcase some very stimulating sexual conduct worth checking out. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Kayla Paige and Amber Chase

Scene One: Jelena Jensen, the large breasted brunette on the front cover, was up first in bed with another popular brunette, Nina Mercedez, as they discussed the price of some home renovations. Jelena couldn’t afford them so Nina started seducing her slowly, caressing her breasts and kissing her softly as a means of getting her way. This led to some foot fetish play and oral reciprocation from Jelena, the expected muff diving taking place in spades. Unlike more generic trysts between members of the opposite sex, there was no clearly obvious climax with genetic juice or population pudding flying about but it was a evident that both got off all the same, the lengthy coupling showing a decent amount of desire, chemistry, and fulfillment.

Scene Two: Prinzzess and Lily Carter were up next in bed, the two becoming reacquainted physically after relaxing a little in their form fitting dresses. Unlike the last scene though, this tryst was focused more on manual stimulation of the labia and clitoris, the rubbing taking the form of some hand to gland combat at times. That doesn’t mean it was any less appealing, it just struck me as more direct with Prinzzess taking charge as the dominant partner. They managed to eat each other out and come across as if getting off too, it lacked some of the erotic appeal of the initial scene with the amount of fingering and control going on (such as using the panties to choke Lily).

Scene Three: Katsuni, an attractive Asian known for the last few years as a contract performer limited in what she could do, was up next in bed with Prinzzess after some food and wine. Katsuni was as perfectly fit as ever (and my main reason for picking this one up), her role in dominating Prinzzess interesting as she turned the tables on the gal from her last scene in the flick. Their tight pants lasted longer than their shirts, Prinzzess slowing her partner down a bit as the two caressed and kissed more naturally than usual for a porno. Katsuni did the honors by going down on her friend first, Prinzzess reciprocating and grabbing Katsuni by the neck a few times as if wanting to reestablish her role as the superior partner. There was some manual manipulation of the pussies here too but it was a side act to the more sensual oral and touching.

Scene Four: Kayla Paige, an attractive gal noted for her portrayal of a mainstream character in a recent parody title, was up next with lean Amber Chase, the pair embracing on the day bed as they talked about various problems. Amber made the moves on Kayla here, slowly caressing her very lightly as she worked her wonders on the playmate of the day, both of them displaying appropriate body language for sexual attraction. In short, it took a long time for them to beat to the bush as it were and start undressing, Kayla giving in to the advances as the ladies kissed and felt each other up. They did some cunnilingus and fingering here but it was also a side show in some ways, the light kissing including some lizard licking to slightly weaken it for me, closing up in an awkward 69 and cuddle.

Summary: Net Skirts 6.0 by director Dan O’Connell for Girlfriends Films had four scenes worth watching more than a few times each, the replay value and strokability enhancing the look of the ladies, their personal chemistry for one another, and the end result enough to merit a rating of at least a Recommended for me. The sexually charged moments from the first and last scenes worked best for me this time, each taking on a slow seduction rather than the overt type I am used to in more mainstream porn, but even the other two scenes provided ample appeal given the cast of attractive women. In short then, Net Skirts 6.0 might not be a big budget blockbuster or part of the latest parody craze, but it had the kind of lesbian seduction sex that proves near timeless for aficionados to enjoy so check it out if you’re interested.
