Audio/Video Quality: Pink Lips was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Lee Roy Myers for Third Degree Films. The lighting was usually optimal and it generally limited the grain, video noise, and shadows substantially. The composition of the shots was usually flattering to the ladies and given the quality of the cast, this made it more enjoyable too. The fleshtones were generally accurate and the bitrate hovered in the mid 4.9 Mbps area so it looked pretty solid. There were no compression artifacts and the visuals were generally handled pretty well here. The audio was presented in a 1.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate of most productions. The song “Candy Girl” by Joseph Meadows was performed by Lynn Hearthstone and the Ruffed Grouses, the song showing a lot of skill and the kind of good fun girl band music from the early 80’s was known for; the rest of the aural experience kind of meager with the monaural track populating the entire show. I could hear most of the vocals but they were not balanced all that well, some additional work on this aspect of the show might have warranted more attention.

Body of Review: Lee Roy Myers has been quite a force in the parody porn market, some of his most recent works under the Third Degree Films label coming across as very entertaining (while remaining strokable). His latest release making it my way is Pink Lips, another collaboration with the POPPorn crew of Brian Bangs, Spock Buckton, and Meatball, the website pundits relegated to writing duties this time but still central to the success of the project. The idea was to make a rockumentary of sorts regarding an all girl band from the 80’s, the gals fucking and sucking their way through various comedic endeavors on their road to success and breakup. I’ll be up front in stating that this one looked kind of rushed at times but I laughed at a number of the jokes and found all of the ladies as fuckable as ever in the movie. The back cover stated it like this: “The legendary Pink Lips invite you on a wild, cum-guzzling adventure as they take you backstage at their final concert. Watch as they give you a front row seat to the blistering debauchery of these five teen sluts and their clinically insane manager, Mick Crapz. Pink Lips is a hysterical, cum-filled sex-comedy from the warped minds of Spock Buckton and Brian Bangs. Directed by multiple award winner Lee Roy Myers and starring Andy San Dimas, Lily LaBeau, Katie St. Ives, Brooke Lee Adams and Yurizan Beltran as the legendary all-girl slut group with a cock-draining appearance by big-assed Alexis Texas, Pink Lips will make you rock out with your cock out.” Here’s a very brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene Five: Lily LaBeau, the light haired lady on the upper left hand corner of the front cover, was up last as she fulfilled her contract with slimy Anthony Rosano in order to leave the band. They went into the bathroom and she proceeded to slob his knob aggressively, a BJ-only scene with some flair and energy making it really work better than I was told to expect. He gave her some service as well but their grudge fuck (or grudge suck) exploits together included some dirty talk, a titty fuck, and a need for seed displaying passion and enthusiasm to get the job done, his streamers flying all over the place before she finished him off with a handjob as she sucked his balls. His minimal splooge landed on her face, the ending dialogue kind of amusing but leaving me wanting more too.

Summary: Pink Lips by director Lee Roy Myers for Third Degree Films broke some new ground in terms of moving away from the copycat parodies so many of the weaker talents stick with these days (those people often unable to go the extra mile to offer anything entertaining even on those rare occasions when the sex is good). The casting of hotties like Alexis Texas, Katie St. Ives, Lily LaBeau, Andy San Dimas, Yurizan Beltran, and Brooke Lee Adams, was nicely done and all of the sex included some active riding to make it strokable while adding replay value. The technical aspects of the movie were fair enough and the witty writing proved again my stance that the Popporn staff should all be praised for trying something different. The feature aspects seemed a bit rushed though and while most of the elements going into the movie were nicely done, the sum of the parts was a notch or two less than what I expected of them, the movie still worthy of being Recommended, just falling short of what it could have been with more resources applied to it. That said, Pink Lips was an amusing romp into the land of porn rockumentary with a good cast and plenty to like so give it a look and see what I mean when I say that this could have been a contender next year had the company made the conscious choice to push it further.
