Audio/Video Quality: All-American Cheerleaders 1 was presented in 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by directors Lee Roy Myers & Paul Woodcrest for Good Night Media. This was a standard definition project displayed in the MPEG-2 codec, the video bitrate hovering around the 5.2 Mbps area when I checked it out a few times during the movie, the lighting solid in all the scenes and no grain or video noise as a result. The composition of the shots and mix of varying angles helped it as did the balance between close ups and medium shots, but the lack of contextual long shots did impact the production. The editing worked for me okay as well as the thematic approach, the cheerleader theme a popular one even before the late, great Jim Holliday popularized it so many times in the past. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English with 192 Kbps aural bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate, the limited separation between the channels and modest dynamic range about standard for this type of production. The vocals were always plain enough and I could hear all that was said, albeit on a basic level, and the music was decent enough for the mix.

Body of Review: Lee Roy Myers is best known as an award winning director of porn parodies, his company called Good Night Media. Rather than keep churning out variations of the same old thing (in his case, parodies), he has begun to team up with others to make a pretty diverse catalog of titles including the subject of this review, All-American Cheerleaders 1. Keeping in mind that cheerleaders are a fantasy for almost every man alive (and I’ve enjoyed them in porn from as far back as the original “Debbie Does Dallas” and “High School Memories” before finding a multitude of thematic winners from Jim Holliday), I figured that even with just a touch of thought, the show would be a winner for me too. In that sense, it was fun to watch and the sex was as engaging as expected, no doubt thanks to the efforts of the lovely ladies such as Kristina Rose, Katie St. Ives, and Melanie Rios. The back cover described the movie like this: “You have never seen cuter and sluttier girls than these All-American Cheerleaders. Find out what is really going on under their short skirts and behind their pom-poms. Prepare for some deep co-ed pussy-pounding! Give me an X! Give me an X! Give me an X! What's that spell? XXX Cheerleader Action!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that some condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Kristina Rose, the all natural Latina featured on the left portion of the front cover, was up first in full cheerleader regalia, ready to pounce on Rocco Reed in the locker room. As a mope, Brian is not the worst of the pack but Melanie deserved better, her lithe little body all juiced up and ready to go once his pecker came out to play. Summary: All-American Cheerleaders 1 by directors Lee Roy Myers and Paul Woodcrest for Good Night Media lacked some of the polish their works for other companies have had but the theme was solid and the casting of the ladies decent enough, meriting a rating of Recommended for the levels of strokability, replay value, and overall quality. In short, All-American Cheerleaders 1 may not be the best movie released by the company but it was a worthy addition to their current mix, perhaps some more build up to the trysts in the form of tease and/or better context shots enhancing future volumes so give it a look.
