Audio/Video Quality: Slutty & Sluttier 13 was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen the scenes were originally shot in by director Manuel Ferrara for Evil Angel using the MPEG-2 codec (sporting 480 resolution). The quality of the visuals varied a bit here but Manuel focused less on the technical matters instead of maintaining the usual sexual energy and chemistry. The lighting was decent and that eliminated most of the problems associated with gonzo productions, Manuel's works virtually always a few notches above the competition from what I've seen over the years. The editing was decent, if a little rushed, and the minor quirks on the technical side did not deter me from enjoying the scenes most of the time. The bitrate was all over the charts here with much of the footage coming in around the 4.3 Mbps range but there were not a lot of compression artifacts present that I could see. The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate but there was no separation noticed that I could figure out, and the dynamic range was pretty limited too; the scenes coming from quickly shot gonzo; the guerilla shooting style favored by pornographers everywhere.

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara is perhaps the best porn stud according to the many ladies I’ve chatted with over the years, his size, demeanor, and skillful manner all helping to enhance his personality to the point where he is certainly one of the favored few in the industry. As a director distributed by Evil Angel, Manuel also enjoys a modicum of success, his double disc offerings full of hardcore antics that show all the chemistry, passion, and replay value one could ask of them, his rough technical edges sometimes adding to the presentation more than I used to care to admit. His latest release making it my way for review is called Slutty & Sluttier 13, the title a single disc offering that had Manuel sticking behind the camera this time. Still, with such notables as Jynx Maze, Bridgette B., and Tanner Mayes, there should be some fine stroke value to appreciate.

Summary: Slutty & Sluttier 13 by director Manuel Ferrara for Evil Angel had about three and a half hours of footage but the director sat out the action this time and while his representatives did a decent job, no one would realistically suggest any of them truly compare so I rated it as Recommended. Manuel is getting pretty decent as a director in the gonzo realm but his biggest strength will probably always be his own sexual abilities and chemistry with the ladies. In short, Slutty & Sluttier 13 was just a single disc release but still well worth your time, money, and seed.
