Overview:  Ivan has been steadily creating new titles for Tom Byron Pictures and his latest addition is Big Ass Handy Women.  The title focuses on big asses and has an amazing cast including Allie Haze, Charley Chase, Elena Heiress, Jessica Bangkok, and Jynx Maze taking the much coveted DVD artwork.  As with my previous reviews for Tom Byron/Ivan projects, I’m one that appreciates Ivan’s skillful camera eye and ability of extracting amazing performances from young starlets.  Big Ass Handy Women not only has boasts a powerful cast, but also totes a Jynx Maze anal scene, as she’s paired with anal aficionado, Tom Byron.  Ass connoisseurs like me will want to continue reading in seeing if Big Ass Handy Women is able to deliver the goods.

The flick opens up with a comedic dilemma forcing Tom Byron to call for some assistance with his TV.  The beautiful Charley Chase appears in Tom’s living room and the two go back and forth with some silly banter.  The dialogue moves fast and quickly moves into the action, whereas Charley offers more than battery testing services.  Tom goes for Charley’s voluptious ass and eats her tush, with Charlie returning the favor with an amazingly wet and sloppy blowjob.  Once both perform oral on one another, Tom gets to pounding Charley in doggy and immediately sets the pace for the scene.  The action maintains its energy throughout each of the positions, but it’s Tom who delivers while Charley enjoys herself and leaves the master to do his work.  The scene wraps up with missionary position and a shower of cum all over Charley’s body.  The scene is an impressive piece of work that sets the tone for the remaining scenes.

Bonus Scene:  The bonus scene included by Ivan is of Carolyn Pierce and Tom Byron from Big Ass Fixation.  The scene is somewhat dated and was shot in 4:3 full frame, but holds up well to the test of time.  The scene is worth a viewing but is not something that will constitute repeated viewings.  However, a bonus scene is a bonus scene and is a nice addition to buyers of the disc.

Special Features:  Extras include the bonus scene mentioned above, three trailers, a behind the scene feature, photo gallery, and filler commercials.  The worthwhile extras being the bonus scene starring Carolyn Pierce and the behind the scenes feature that captures Ivan’s typical antics, bloopers, and post-scene interviews.  Additionally, the three included trailers are for Hit Me With Your Best Squirt 2, Booby Patrol, and The Human Sexipede.

Audio/Video Quality:  Audio is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo (192 Kbps) and is consistently strong throughout the entire feature.  There are no instances of artifacts or distortion picked up by the camera-mounted microphone.  Ivan shot Big Ass Handy Women in 1:78:1 anamorphic widescreen using the MPEG-2 codec and mastered it in the standard 480i resolution.  Colors were strong and vibrant and presented accurate flesh tones with little to no over exposure.  Lastly, Ivan has always been a talented editor and Big Ass Handy Women further proves his overlooked skills.  Editing was minimal with no annoying cuts and kept a strong and steady pace, all while keeping a strong consistency in each of the scenes.

Final Thoughts:  Ivan and Tom Byron have become a powerful team as they have directed/produced some of the better gonzo within the last two years.  As most companies continue to focus on parodies, Ivan has shifted to themed gonzo, which has worked well for him.  Most recently, Don Houston gave Big Ass Cheerleaders 2 high markings and further solidified Ivan and Tom’s partnership.  Big Ass Handy Women is an incredibly well shot flick with an all-star cast of beautiful women, ferocious sex, and talented male performers.  Big Ass Handy Women is not only a must-own, but also reminded me of the fact that great pornography still exists in 2011.  Lastly, Big Ass Handy Women is the first flick of the year that I give our highest honor, XCritc Pick.  XCritc Pick
