Overview: Julie Simone is the face of BDSM/Kink, knowing how to mix eroticism with bondage and pain. She is not a pornstar but orbits very close to that world, attracting some of the biggest names in porn to appear in many of her films. And while her films don’t often feature sex, they are erotic enough to make porn viewers aroused. They appeal to both BDSM purists and porn consumers, plus it helps that Julie’s voluptious body and natural sex appeal have contributed to Julie being the top mistress in the fetish world. Bound Rubber Dolls packs a lot in 65 mminutes, with Julie and company demonstrating the art and beauty of bondage. The camerawork is stellar, the outfits are sexy, the girls are gorgeous, and the sensuality of each scene adds a lot to the eroticism levels of the film.

Julie appears immediately on screen looking gorgeous in a skin tight black latex outfit, complete with a pair of red and black high heels that show off her fiery red pedicure. She binds herself by placing a gag ball then a pair of cuffs, and struggles to free herself, her spit dripping as the gag ball begins to take effect. Her legs are shackled but the chains on her handcuffs are just long enough for Julie to reach her front and begins to slowly rub herself down. The camera pans up and down and circles Julie’s entire curvy body, the lighting hitting her outfit which blends nicely with the dungeon décor that surrounds Julie. She wears the hell out of her latex suit and while there’s no nudity definitely is a good way to start off things as Julie simply writhing around is erotic in itself.

Curvy kink model JJ Plush is out by the pool on a warm sunny day, wearing pumps, askin tight green latext blouse and black latext pencil skirt. On the diving board with her tits exposed, her nipples are clamped, restraints on both her wrists and ankles, and is chained up on the board. She tries to break free, the sun hitting her face which adds to her light torture. Eventually she gives up but returns in the next scene, this time dressed in all black latex, her face covered up with her mouth in a restraint. Again, she’s tied up completely, lying on a big couch with no one to help her escape. Every inch of her body is captured by the camera as it moves slowly to capture every inch of her curves trapped in her tight clothing. As much as she tries, JJ doesn’t appear to be upset; instead it appears to be turning her on that she can barely move especially to touch herself. She manages to get to the floor and we see her long legs trying to stretch but unable to due to the restraints. She finally accepts her fate as the scene fades to black.

With a beautiful piece of classical music playing in the background, Julie and Nikki appear in a creepy white room in which Julie stands Nikki up and begins to tie her up with rope that’s hanging from the ceiling. With the music playing Julie with a determined look on her face, ties her submissive prey in a sort of half hog-tie, then lifting up the rest of Nikki’s body so that Nikki is dangling from the ceiling, about three feet above the floor. Nikki is dressed in red latex while Julie is dressed in a olive colored military inspired latex outfit, which makes her look like the utlimate boss bitch. Her tall curvy body is no match for Nikki’s thin frame. Julie uses the last piece of rope that’s dangling to tie up Nikki’s hair with it, now Nikki’s suspended in mid-air via her hair, arms and ankles. As she dangles, Nikki’s eyes are closed but she’s not in pain but looking as though she’s pondering about something good.

Julie returns and she means business, with the background noise sounding as though war is about to break. We watch her put on her latext, stand up and proceed to dominate her next victim. Once she’s done dressing up her submissive, her slave does what she’s told to do without argument. Julie covers her submissive’s face with a latext mask and looks a bit hesitant about what may be coming next. Julie prepares her her slaves bed; next you know the slave is lying down on it with a plastic sheet covering her which Julie then sucks out all the air out of it, tightening her slave in making her unable to move at all. Looking as though she’s been frozen in carbonite, Julie inspects her work and feels up her slave’s body.

Summary: There are actually more scenes in this film but they were all standouts. Julie Simone has directed a beautifully shot, artsy but unpretentious film that explores this strange (to the average non-kink viewer) but tittilating world. From a critical standpoint, the scenes are short but to the point, no long sequences before anything worthwhile happens. Julie nicely packs every moment in or just under 10 minutes per scene. Not many directors can do that. It won’t appeal to everyone and it’s not the film’s goal to appeal to all, but for those with an open mind will truly appreciate the esthetics captured on this film. It’s nothing short of excellent. Whether you are a purist or curious about the world of bondage, Julie Simone’s Bound Rubber Dolls deserves to be Highly Recommended.
