Audio/Video Quality: Queen Of Gapes was presented in a fairly clear 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Omar Galanti for Evil Angel. Like many of his peers at the company, the technical acumen used by the cameramen and other technical staff was not exactly what you would call awesome but it was good enough to display the plethora of circus act sex tricks used to make the ladies gape extensively (and for prolonged amounts of time). The minor edge enhancement, color variations, and compression artifacts were not overly distracting and the video bitrate was pretty solid for the portions I checked, the end result being it was not tough on the eyes in terms of how it was shot. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital with the usual 48 kHz sampling rate and 192 Kbps bitrate, the vocals not extensive though as easy to understand in terms of pushing limits of the language (and sensibilities of the cast) as expected.

Body of Review: Omar Galanti is the latest performer-turned-director at Evil Angel, his brand of pushing the limits of his female cast in line with that of Rocco Siffredi, Christoph Clark, and maybe even Mike Adriano (less Mike’s much more playful attitude that shows he cares for the ladies). I admit that even going into watching Queen Of Gapes with an open mind, I was hesitant given some of the things I heard about his previous displays of circus act sex. My primary motivation was to see listed cast member “Julia Bond” again in action, figuring maybe it was an older scene of hers locked away in a vault or one I just hadn’t seen, the sad truth being that the women using the name was NOT the popular American performer, just a name-stealing poser. With that, I went into the four lengthy scenes somewhat disgruntled, the usual staffers at the company I’m familiar with never allowing some foreigner to do this in one of their productions previously. The company website described the show like this: “Italian sex freak Omar Galanti cranks open four of Russia's gaping-est young ladies in the outrageous Queen of Gapes. Scene One: Isabella Clark, the brunette featured on the front cover (with the enormous anal gape), was up first after traveling Omar Galanti, hooked up with her during his travels. Summary: Queen Of Gapes by director Omar Galanti for Evil Angel did not have American performer Julia Bond in it and was pretty much stuck in the mindset of pushing the limits of the ladies beyond any reasonable amount to achieve anal gapes, the result probably better for those wanting something rougher than you will find from directors Jay Sin or Mike Adriano but not quite as extreme as you will find from directors like Rocco Siffredi, Belladonna, or Jake Malone. Omar is no Manuel Ferrara, adds nothing special to the mix with the tricks he showcases, and the mechanical attitudes of foreign women doing whatever is asked of them as shown in Queen Of Gapes just left me cold. If you appreciate the skills of the ladies involved, by all means check this one out but it just did not work past a rating of Rent It for my sensibilities, the identity issue involving what was once a high profile performer leaving an admittedly sour taste in my mind.
