The Movie:

For those not in the know, Burning Angel is a website dedicated to hot naked punk rock chicks and music. The closest thing you can compare it to is the Suicide Girls phenomena, as they cater to the punk/music crowd more than the traditional spank movie crowd, but unlike the SG's these gals go full on hardcore for your enjoyment.

The first DVD release from Burning Angel tries something a little different – in between the hardcore sex scenes there are band interviews. This serves as a nice way to break things up a bit and it paces the film effectively. In between the fuck sessions, you'll find interview clips with My Chemical Romance, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Killswitch Engage, Eighteen Visions and Shadows Fall. Also worth noting is that Tim Armstrong, of Rancid fame, did most of the soundtrack for this project.

The cover art for this release touts it as 'a hot load of sex and rock 'n roll' and that about sums it up as good as anything I can come up with. The girls are usually pierced and tattooed multiple times, you'll see a lot of died hair and body art, but most importantly they're one hundred percent natural, free of any silicone enhancements that I noticed, and that makes things all the better. Here's what you get…

Chapter 1 – Nancy Jade, Kylee and Johnny Spritz: The girls start to make out to get things started, and soon his pants are off. Video:

The fullframe shot on digital video image is pretty crisp with only some mild edge enhancement keeping it from a higher grade. Colors look nice and lifelike, flesh tones as well, and the black levels remain strong throughout. There are a couple of spots where some low level video noise is present, but these are few and far between and overall this presentation looks pretty good.

Sound:

The English language Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track is clean and clear without any evidence of hiss or distortion, however there are more than a couple of spots where the levels fluctuate a fair bit but it's never too harsh. Other than that, there are no problems here. There's plenty of bass in the low end of the soundtrack, and the high end is crisp without any tinny effects or break ups in the audio.

Extras:

The main supplement on this release is a behind the scenes featurette that runs just under two minutes. This is basically just some candid footage, some bloopers, and some sound bits from Joanna and the girls. Aside from that, there's a twenty-nine image production stills gallery, still galleries for Presley Paige, Joanna Angel, Nancy Jade, Jezebelle Bond and Kylee, and trailers for movies that are available for download off of the Burning Angel website (the clips are Prestley Masturbation (sic), Summer And Bruno, Kylee And Nancy and Angel Baby And Steelie Dan. There's also a very cool liner note insert featuring a brief essay from Joanna that details her experience with Tommy on the rooftop shoot in the third scene.

Final Thoughts:

What's not to love? Good quality hardcore porn featuring some gorgeous girls set to solid music. Burning Angel.com – The Movie is, for lack of a better term, a really fun fuck film. You can tell everyone involved is having a good time, the interviews with the bands are a nice and different way of breaking things up a bit between scenes, and I don't understand how anyone can tire of looking at scorching hot tattooed girls getting it on.
