Audio/Video Quality: Manuel Opens Their Asses was offered up in a decent anamorphic widescreen as shot by credited director Lensman for Jules Jordan Video. Most of the speculation regarding the true identity of the director has suggested Manuel Ferrara is “Lensman” though I also speculate that it could be Dana Vespoli since she has long shot for the man on movies he is credited with (some thinking co-directing credit makes more sense in such cases). Regardless of the name game, the lighting was ample and the camera work fair enough, some minor framing issues at times but the flesh tones accurate for a gonzo production. The uncredited editing had some rough patches too but it wasn’t as heavy handed as others have been of late, the video bit rate varying substantially and the ever present company watermark observed on the lower right hand corner of the screen at all times. The aural qualities were similar to most porn, appearing to be captured by the camera mounted microphone rather than having someone use a boom mike but the vocals were generally understandable (other than when three of the cast were speaking their native French) and not over dubbed, the generic music only a bother during certain portions of the tease sequences, and the overall mix handled competently.

Body of Review: Lensman is the newest director at Jules Jordan Video, speculation running high that it is just an alias for popular Manuel Ferrara (or Dana Vespoli). The first project credited as such is called Manuel Opens Their Asses, an all anal movie where the leading male performer in porn bones some quality ass, each of the ladies having worked with him in some first rate scenes elsewhere. As such, I felt that this collection deserved a rating of a high end Recommended rather than the next level up but only because they couldn’t exceed what they had done before. With attractive babes like French Jessie Volt & Anissa Kate, or sultry Jayden Lee, curvy fox London Keyes, or incredibly busty Kiara Mia, you can’t go wrong picking this one up, it’s just that they set the bar so high previously that Manuel Opens Their Asses, as good as it was, fell short at times.
