Audio/Video Quality: Neighborhood Slut Watch was presented in the usual 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Van Styles for Jules Jordan Video. This being his first movie for the company as the credited director, I expected something special and received it; the lengthy trysts providing all kinds of strokability and replay value with his usual flair for the technical aspects (Van has long been a director elsewhere and handled all the technical aspects of Jenna Haze’s well received fuck flicks). The lighting was solid and the camera work provided ample coverage of the ladies, the video bitrate varying a lot but the look of the action rarely showing any problems worth mentioning though some may find the company watermark distracting at times. There were some artistic techniques used here but they were not overly applied, the net result being a good looking fuck flick. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English, all the vocals easily heard along with the expected moans put forth by the slutty women. The use of dirty talk was not consistent but each lady had their own specialties so this was to be expected. In sum, the technical aspects were handled very nicely so any of Van’s fans should be as happy as newcomers just discovering his work for the first time.

Body of Review: Van Styles has long been a porn director known for his artistic bend, the man now joining Jules Jordan Video to be a part of the team many fans consider to be the best in gonzo smut. His first release as a credited director is called Neighborhood Slut Watch, Van once again focusing his efforts on some of the hottest young babes in the jizz biz to showcase. Of the cast of cuties, the best known these days would be lovely Jessie Andrews (thanks in no small part to her various awards associated with “Portrait of a Call Girl” released last year) but the others included some up and comers like Presley Hart, Lexi Bloom, Valerie Kay, Mischa Brooks, and Casey Cumz/Alexander (she has been credited under both last stage names). While anal sex was not common in the production, there was certainly a lot of fuck for the buck, the technical aspects adding something to make this a bit off the beaten path in terms of gonzo, the casting alone elevating the strokability and replay values. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

The replay value and strokability were well in line with other movies under the label and the technical qualities, while not as straightforward as I generally prefer, were a nice touch too, the single disc production earning a rating of Highly Recommended or better if you enjoy seeing a variety of newer women unleashing their sexual inner beasts to have some fun. In short then, Neighborhood Slut Watch certainly qualified as one of the best of its type, the title subheader suggesting “the girl next door look with the heart of a slut!” amounting to truth in advertising from my point of view. With almost three and a half hours of fuck for the buck centering on great ladies having lustful fun, I think most will appreciate this movie a lot so I look forward to his next venture under the label.
