Audio/Video Quality: LUSH 2 was presented in a decent 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as released by director William H. Nutsack for Elegant Angel(under their "Club 59" label) using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec with 480 resolution. The camera work was again solid with plentiful lighting to eliminate grain, video noise and shadows so the picture appeared to be in line with his other work to date. Nutsack has made or assisted on a number of titles over the years, the technical matters taking back seat (pun intended) to the raw energy of the sex, but his skill levels have always been among the best in the industry. I saw no compression artifacts though the video bitrate was roughly 4.3 Mbps when spot checked but the composition of the camera angles strongly favored the ladies and their well lit bodies. The compositions of the shots helped maximize the potential of the ladies too, rarely relying on extreme close ups all the time as some seem destined to do and the editing by Michael Cates allowing his vision to remain as complete as possible. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases. For those keeping track, the audio was offered in a 256 Kbps offering with a 48 kHz sampling rate, the grunts and groans heard well enough but the music not a factor this time.

Body of Review: William H. Nutsack has been one of my favorite directors in porn for years due to his body of work at Elegant Angel, the lighting and copious amounts of tease almost always superior to gonzo titles from similar companies in the industry. While most of his work has involved truly decadent, hardcore trysts, his latest release of LUSH 2in the spinoff line from “Club 59” showed his range again in a way that elevates his stature as far as I’m concerned. The movie was a series of four lengthy, erotic lesbian trysts where no toys were deployed and the resulting chemistry and passion made it stand out. The basic formula remains the same as the company seeks to show it can offer erotic lesbians trysts just as smoking hot as anything else on the market, the ladies all coming across as having orgasmed at least once during their scenes. It should be noted that the level of success for this series has always been closely tied to the selection of the most suitable lesbian hotties, my favorites here including Jessie Andrews, Lily LaBeau, and Shyla Jennings, though all of them worked out just swell. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Jessie Rogers and Lily LaBeau

Scene One: Jessie Andrews, the cute young lady seen on the right side of the front cover, and her playmate for the lengthy lesbian tryst, brunette Taylor Vixen (more properly featured on the center of the cover), were up first. They both gave an interview before the scene cut away to showing them on a bed together, their legs intertwined and light kisses giving way to heavier petting. They nuzzled together and took their time removing clothing, their chemistry levels sky high as was the playfulness displayed by both of them here. They each got off without any population pudding or genetic juice launched upon their feminine frames, the scene standing out as yet another reason to sing the praises of the Studio 59 line for sheer quality of sexual trysts. Jessie, in particular, stood out as getting off a time or two, adding some depth to her porn resume having made such waves with “Portrait of a Call Girl” earlier this year.

Scene Two: Shyla Jennings and Dani Daniels, both dark haired babes in skimpy street attire, were up next on a white couch together. The interviews gave an idea where their minds were at and did not appear scripted, the ladies placed together quickly leading to the same dynamic of kisses, caresses, and no sex toys needed as they explored each other in great detail. The chemistry here was not as prominent as the last scene but I had the distinctive impression that they were into the action and each other, the cuddles and titty sucking just as magic as the snatch gobbling and continued series of kisses as the sex continued. The duration was again longer than expected and the slower approach worked for me, the small stain in my shorts while watching it seemingly growing yet again. My only criticism was that I wished the 69 had a second camera working it from the alternative angle to allow for both ladies to be as well showcased.

Scene Three: Andy San Dimas and Aiden Ashley, another set of dark haired lasses, were up next in a lesbian tryst enhanced by the fact that they were already close friends. Aiden assumed the initial dominant role missing in the previous scenes (this was an ongoing discussion among myself and others watching it this weekend; differing opinions lending to a better review) where things were generally equal or close to it, the kissing cut short by the gal as she slobbed Andy’s boobs and crotch aggressively. Andy’s passive role was different from much of her previous work and a bit of a disappointment but she warmed up before too long and tore into Aiden orally in a fashion that saved the scene from mediocrity. The face sitting and dry humping were my favorite parts though, both of them getting off a few times from all appearances.

Scene Four: Lily LaBeau, one of the freshest faces in porn recently, and newcomer Jessie Rogers, in an early lesbian scene having shot some stills, were up last. Newcomer lesbian porn typically falls way short of the mark since the ladies have yet to learn the usual generic moves so many rely on and are so often not into doing one another in a believable fashion so a scene like this is great at showing who belongs and who doesn’t. Thankfully, Elegant must have done some serious screening regarding Jessie as she gave off an air of discovery that gave the whole scene a different feel from the others, the fun factor and playfulness displayed such that it served well to showcase both ladies. As expected, Lily took charge after the initial kissing on the couch, savoring the taste of breasts and pussy really well. They took it slow and it worked nicely too, the crotch rubbing especially erotic because the contrast in tans (Lily as milky white as ever compared to the tanned Brazilian Jessie). Lily got off twice or more, Jessie was not as clear cut, but it was a good way to end the show.

Summary: LUSH 2 by director William H. Nutsack for Elegant Angel was interesting in how the interviews at the beginning of each of the four scenes seemed to properly outline what each lady expected, what she had to offer, and how much she wanted to do things as she wanted to rather than be micromanaged by some chump with a camera. The scenes then proceeded to show exactly what was promised with each scene taking on a life of its own, the pacing dictated by the ladies instead of following a strict formulaic approach as is the norm in the industry. There were some minor rough edges on the technical matters at times because of the single camera approach but frankly, the strength of the sexual interactions was as appealing as anything I've seen from companies devoted to sex-positive lesbian action, the genuine orgasms working for me every time. As such, I rated this one as Highly Recommended, the strokability and replay value for an aficionado like myself much sweeter than usual. In short, LUSH 2 won me over thanks to the efforts of babes like Lily LaBeau, Jessie Andrews, and the rest of the cast, their inclusion in the show meriting a special nod.
