Audio/Video Quality: Step Sisters was presented in a crisp anamorphic widescreen offering as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground. The credited camera operator was Jim F. with editing by Evulatheng and PJ Bronson. The lighting was typically solid, the camera worked varied though the scenes were framed well enough and relied less of the extreme close up shots marring so many company features in recent years. The flesh tones were good and a decent amount of care went into making the short scenes work as standalone vignettes, a tribute to the skill of the popular director. The aural qualities were modest but presented in a post production added 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround, the elevated bit rate of 448 Kbps not hurting the ability to hear the vocals, some pretty good music included though it wasn’t credited to anyone.

Body of Review: Robby D. has been an award winning director for years at Digital Playground, his works impressing all the right people. His latest release sent in for review is called Step Sisters, a parody of sorts of a mainstream movie coming out some years ago. Starring Jesse Jane, Natalia Starr, and smoking hot Ava Addams, the two younger ladies provide some sibling rivalry until they join forces to have a fucking good time together. They plot is light, the dialogue sounds like it was improvised, and some of the trysts lacked the chemistry Robby’s light comedy adventures were known for under the old regime at the company but Jesse was particularly outgoing, Natalia looked good, and Ava was a welcome change of pace from the usual suspects.

The back cover said: “Promiscuous Jesse Jane® still lives at home with her mother, while closeted whore and daddy’s little girl, Natalia Starr, lives with her father. Both of them are in for a rude awakening when their parents decide to move in together and force the girls to share a room! At first, they hate each other, but after discovering each other’s sex toys, they become best friends. The good days are soon over after their parents force them to get a job, luckily the ladies get to do what they do best - fuck!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Natalia Starr, the cute young lady featured on the right side of the front cover, was up first applying for a job with Karlo Karrera. It essentially came across as pornifying the mainstream movie “Step Brothers” but did such a shallow job that I just couldn’t like it as much as I otherwise would have with a bigger budget and more variety in the sexual trysts. That neither Jesse Jane nor Natalia Starr were young enough to pull the situations off did not help but I have certainly seen much worse from the industry than Step Sisters, even from some of the bigger companies of late so consider this a warning that it was cute but not worth dropping $30 to keep.
