Extras: In terms of extras, the 11:21 minute long Behind the Scenes feature was a lot of fun, Jamal as jovial as ever and the ladies featured quite well (Willem Default editing this time). Then, for most fans (that have a Blu-ray player) the high definition copy of the movie will be most appreciated, the enhancements not the biggest upgrade I have seen from them but definitely worth it if you are watching the show on a big screen television like I do. There was also a photogallery and some trailers as well as a showcase clip of the contract ladies and a studio trailer.

Audio/Video Quality: Romance was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 widescreen as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground. The movie package included both the standard definition DVD as well as the Blu-ray disc, each looking good with the high definition version a nice upgrade. It was edited by Evul Atheng and looked good, the production providing a solid look at the trysts with a mixture of shots this time. The 5.1 Surround audio was also clear in both versions of the movie, the difference less striking than the visuals in terms of the high definition version, but Bud Greene did a good job on the audio.

Body of Review: Robby D. has had a lengthy history of making award winning movies at Digital Playground, few disputing his status as one of the go to directors for feature porn. His latest movie sent for review is called Romance, a showcase title contract starlet Jesse Jane as a writer fantasizing about becoming her own lead character for an array of sexual trysts. As I have been known to favor the blond bombshell’s exploits ever since she hit the small screen of porn, my review is likely biased in her favor but she always manages to bring something special to her movies so adjust the rating if you disagree. As she writes, she can see her creations come to life and the sexual seductions of her characters are hers to command. James Deen and his girlfriend Asa Akira have a hardcore make up sex session after a tiff, when James takes control of the situation. This was far from the over the top comedy Robby is known for but it had all the likable touches he and his team tend to provide, Jesse herself always a treat to check out. In short, Romance had enough fuck for the buck, replay value, and strokability to fuel the libido of Jesse’s fans, the young lady certainly earning her status as one of the premier ladies of porn for many years now thanks to roles like this one so give it a look and find out if it will work for you too.
