Extras: The 27:22 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jamall Jhonson and edited by “Peeps” was the best extra by far. The 3:07 minutes of Bloopers were cute too, but too brief by comparison as the second disc served for extras on both versions of the movie. There was a slide show and a photogallery as well as trailers. As always these days, the separate format disc (either the DVD or the Blu-ray) could also be considered an “extra”, my preference for the high definition version of the show making the standard definition copy less valuable but your mileage may well vary. Otherwise, the slipcase cover the book format DVD case was nice, the ladies featured on the “pages” of the case that unfolded out to access the three discs.

Audio/Video Quality: Nurses 2 was presented in a very sharp 1.78:1 widescreen as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground. The movie package included both the standard definition DVD as well as the Blu-ray disc, each looking good though the high definition version was a big upgrade. It was edited by the talented Joey Pulgadas and looked like the visual elements were interesting (especially in the high definition Blu-ray), the production did a good job of blending the feature elements with the sexual trysts once again. In terms of technical values, you just cannot beat talented Robby and his seasoned crew with their access to the highest end equipment. Tim S. was credited as the director of photography and faithful Jim F. served as the primary camera operator (using Yordog as his assistant), the post production work adding something to the show as a whole. The audio was also clear in both cases, the difference less striking but the production sounded like the vocals, music, and ambient noises were all put together well enough, Seth Cardigan credited with all aural elements of the show.

Body of Review: Robby D. directs at Digital Playground these days, his career full of awards and accolades. His latest blockbuster sent for review is called Nurses 2, a showcase title for the company’s biggest names as it starred Jesse Jane, Kayden Kross, and Riley Steele, Selena Rose, and Bibi Jones all making this sequel about hospital hijinks worth checking out. With nine scenes and a great ending orgy, there was definitely a lot to enjoy this time, some may feel it beats out “Mothers & Daughters” when award time comes up in the next few months. The super technical values and extremely heated trysts combined with the chemistry and replay value of the production earned a rating of Highly Recommended. I would have enjoyed seeing Stoya as part of the mix but this was a top notch flick with great comedy, the show at least as good as the original volume in the series. In short, Nurses 2 was a lot of fun and the high definition Blu-ray version was as sharp a production as I have seen from the company in months, the light touches at humor making it a very appealing porno for couples, my significant other liking it almost as much as the aforementioned Mothers & Daughters, suggesting it tickled her funny bone as much as making her want to get frisky; what better way to express the quality of a porno?
