Extras: In terms of extras, the 14:05 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jamall Johnson (and edited by Peeps) was the best for me. It was cute and allowed the contract ladies to have some fun, the goofing on Robby by means of a lookalike doll worth a nod even if the interviews and additional nudity by the ladies was better. The inclusion of a standard DVD copy was nice too but I’m a Blu-ray fan thanks to the enhanced technical values, perhaps those who prefer one format might get with someone that likes the other to each get what they want. There was a photogallery and some trailers but that was all.

Audio/Video Quality: My Private Tutor was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 widescreen as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground. The movie package included both the standard definition DVD as well as the Blu-ray disc, each looking exceptionally sharp and clear though the high definition version was a really nice upgrade. Kurt Tortcher did okay on the editing and the rest of the established team proved their usual magic on other aspects of the flick, the propensity for a lot of close up shots not my favorite way to go in some scenes. The audio was also clear in both versions (post production added surround sound), the difference less striking but the production sounded like the vocals, music, and ambient noises were all put together well enough, Bud Green credited with the overall sound elements. The high definition version of this movie was a decidedly minor upgrade this time, some portions of the show seemingly rushed or otherwise not cared for as much as usual but the feature elements seemed more pronounced too.

Body of Review: Robby D. is the director responsible for most movies coming out of Digital Playground these days, the resulting titles showing a great deal of technical care while showcasing some of the hottest ladies currently in porn. Such was the case with pleasing My Private Tutor, a showcase title for contract hotty Jesse Jane, the gal portraying a former porn goddess turned academic. Brooklyn Lee, Pressley Carter, and Abigaile Johnson rounded out the female cast well enough too, all of them providing the kind of fuck bunny street credibility the company has been cultivating of late. The back cover described the movie like this: “As a college tutor Jesse Jane has put her porno past behind her. But when student Erik Everhard finds out about Jesse's former Xrated adventures, he and his buddy Bill Bailey want to sample the hardcore moves that made her a sex symbol. Roommate Manuel Ferrara thinks he has his blue movie techniques down and schools exchange student Abigaile Johnson in the ways of pleasures. When porn starlet Brooklyn Lee comes to town she flips the script on Manuel and shows him how to properly do some dirty fucking. On the side, Erik talks his girlfriend Pressley Carter into making some camera phone porn. Jesse teaches the guys how to please a woman in this incredibly erotic movie!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Abigaile Johnson, an attractive young lady with limited English language skills but awesome eyes, was up first with Manuel Ferrara, the two hitting it off when he was looking for Jesse. They were all over each other pawing and kissing, a myriad of bruises on her otherwise appealing skin making me wonder if she likes it rough in her personal life. He kneaded her ass and they sprawled out on the bed, Manuel savoring her boobs while peeling her top off, gobbling her gash and ass before she slobbed his knob with practiced ease. Scene Three: Jesse Jane, the major blond contract performer featured on the center of the front cover, was up next with Erik Everhard, his photographed exploits striking a nerve with her. She lit up when he entered the picture, the two retiring to the couch where he put on a hilariously shy act as she mentioned her porn career. Given his standoffish nature, she accused him of being gay and he felt obligated to prove otherwise, the pair kissing as they caressed each other. Summary: My Private Tutor by director Robby D. for Digital Playground used superstar Jesse Jane well enough to earn a rating of Recommended, Brooklyn Lee turning up the heat to show her enthusiasm and the rest of the cast a notch or so above par. The story elements were modest, of course, but cute enough to serve up the scenes in something more interesting them pure gonzo trysts tend to do so you might like this one more than average. In short, My Private Tutor did not stray far from the director’s previous light feature comedy efforts and that is typically a good thing according to those who have come to appreciate his movies. The inclusion of Jesse Jane and Brooklyn Lee certainly assisted in making this one stand above the pack so fans of the ladies will want to consider picking this one up.
