Extras: In terms of extras, the 10:05 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jamall Johnson (and edited by Keethan Hawke) was the best for me. It was cute and allowed the cast some fun during the “Fart Wars” section in particular. The inclusion of a standard DVD copy was nice too but I’m a Blu-ray fan thanks to the enhanced technical values, perhaps those who prefer one format might get with someone that likes the other to each get what they want. There was a photogallery and some trailers but that was all.

Audio/Video Quality: Leverage was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 widescreen as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground. The movie package included both the standard definition DVD as well as the Blu-ray disc, each looking exceptionally sharp and clear though the high definition version was a really nice upgrade. Keethan Hawke did okay on the editing and the rest of the established team proved their usual magic on other aspects of the flick, the propensity for a lot of close up alternating with distant long camera shots not my favorite way to go in the scenes. The audio was also clear in both versions (post production added surround sound), the difference less striking but the production sounded like the vocals and music were put together well enough, no one credited with the overall sound elements. The high definition version of this movie was a decidedly minor upgrade this time, some portions of the show seemingly rushed or otherwise not cared for as much as usual but the feature elements seemed lacking too.

Body of Review: Robby D. is the director responsible for all titles out of Digital Playground these days, the resulting titles showing a great deal of technical care while showcasing some of the hottest ladies currently in porn. Such was the case with Leverage, a showcase title for contract hotty Jesse Jane, that started off cheerfully enough but soon evolved into a movie reminiscent of David Stanley’s features from years ago. Jesse and Manuel hire a housekeeper who figures out a way to get all the good things in life without earning them, the surprise ending not at all like what I expected from a couples-friendly contract company like DP. The back cover described the movie like this: “Looking to make life with husband Manuel Ferrara more comfortable, Jesse Jane welcomes new house keeper Vicki Chase into her world. But having Vicki around proves to be more trouble than Jesse can handle when she gets caught making a mess with her side of man meat, Erik Everhard. On the sly, Vicki uses her perfect young body to tempt Manuel into filling her salacious desires. Having hard evidence of both spouses infidelity, Vicki lets them know who is really in charge! She turns their home into a den of iniquity, inviting Tristyn Kennedy, Maddy O'Reilly and some wild boys over to desecrate every inch of the house. With Jesse blackmailed into silence, she is at the mercy of a deviant that has all the leverage.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Jesse Jane, the sexy blond contract performer featured on the front cover, was up first in bed with Manuel Ferrara, the couple happy with their new help that allowed them more energy to enjoy one another. They embraced, kissed multiple times, and caressed each other in a solid little sexual tryst, stripping off their attire to grant better access. She then threw herself into her blowjob with a lot of hand to gland action, their chemistry together again showing why proper casting makes or breaks a movie like this so readily. Scene Two: Jesse Jane, next up in street clothing as she let Erik Everhard into the house, was soon pairing off with him in the living room while Manuel was away. Summary: Leverage by director Robby D. for Digital Playground showcased Jesse Jane well enough to earn a rating of Recommended, the sexual trysts including a couple of high power plowing scenes starring Jesse Jane to start things off, perky Vicki Chase displaying some chemistry with Manuel Ferrara in the middle, and then Tristyn and Maddy bringing up the rear with a few scenes not quite up to par but certainly strokable enough for a session or two. The high definition version of the feature looked better though it was not a definitive work by any standard at the company, the amount of less explicit footage and long shots alternating with extreme close up shots just striking me as being rushed. In short, Leverage was an entertaining sexual adventure starring Jesse Jane, it just seemed like it wanted to be two movies in one, each aspect of it falling slightly short of the intended mark.
