Condoms: Yes
Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. There was almost no grain or video noise with the picture looking crisp and clear. The DVD transfer was also solid as there were no compression artifacts. The audio was presented in a remastered 5.1 Dolby Digital surround English track. There was no real separation between the channels, I think it was very clear. The playful music was a muzak version of a popular hit in European discos a few years back (I have the song on a CD).
Body of Review: Those familiar with Wicked Pictures will probably know that they have been testing the foreign markets over the last few years and importing some of those movies into the domestic market in return. Most of these to date have been under the Marc Dorcel label but it seems as though they are furthering their experiment these days with the release of What I Really Wanna Do Is Direct. The movie stars Steve Holmes as a director holding auditions. The auditions quickly turn into an excuse to have sex and everyone walks away with a "part". Okay, it wasn't a very involved feature but the sex was pretty good. I just wish Wicked would've identified the cast so I could look for a few of them in the future. Anyway, here's a breakdown of the scenes by whatever I had on them, noting that condoms were all over the place:
Scene One: Vanessa, the cute gal on the front DVD cover, started off the fireworks by taking on a muscular brute inside a building. The sex included a wonderfully hot blowjob, straight sex and anal with some energy. It ended with a pop shot to her beautiful face and except for the over dubbed moaning, I liked it a lot.
Scene Two: Steve and another guy double-teamed a cute blonde with a lean body on stage this time. She was friendly and smiled a lot as the threesome did oral, straight and anal with a DP. It ended when she jerked them off onto her lovely face. Yum!
Scene Three: Magdelen was up next and she had sex in the theatre with a lean guy (who had a small penis). The couple had some fun with a decent blowjob/oral, straight, and anal before the pop shot to her face. Some fans will appreciate that she continued to suck him off after he came. This was a warm scene too.
Scene Four: This scene was fairly weird in that it started off as a three woman rock band playing for Steve and ended up as a big lesbian scene on stage. It was chaotic and wild, much like good rock and roll. The started off by rubbing and licking, progressing to toys and a strap on dildo at the end.
Scene Five: Jennifer, dressed in geeky attire, had a scene with Steve in the back room. Again, lots of oral took place before the screwing and it was fun to watch. There was no anal but they did a good job entertaining one another (and me).
Scene Six: After a false ending, the sex started back up with a janitor and a red headed gal going at it in the ballroom on a table. The sex was slightly playful but not as much as a few other scenes and included oral with straight. It was okay to watch but not as good as most of the other scenes.
Summary: I think this was a pretty fair release by Wicked but with limited extras and a mixed set of scenes in terms of heat, I feel you'll want to Rent It before plopping down your hard earned cash. The cast was attractive enough and Steve played a character far removed from his normal personality (he's a gentleman in real life, not the jerk he played as a director).
