Audio/Video Quality: Fucked On Sight 4 was presented in a standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, a throwback of sorts for director Manuel Ferrara at Evil Angel considering the majority of his movies in the last year have been in widescreen (some anamorphically enhanced too!). While something of a letdown, the weak menu pages and limited extras forecast this nearly as much and I pretty much figured the cost of enhancing his movies for those of us that care probably outweighed the benefit to the mouth breathing raincoater contingent. In any case, the codec used was the standard MPEG-2 with a bitrate hovering in the low 2 Mbps range. The lighting was sub-optimal most of the time, causing saturated colors and adding grain to the proceeding; some video noise and aliasing noticed too. The point of view (POV) camera angle was admittedly steadier than usual for Manuel so perhaps this "back to basics" experience is part of a larger plan to improve the technical qualities on his movies, the tint noticed by others as well. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English with no separation and sounding as if captured by the built in microphone on the camera; the dynamic range limited in most ways as expected. The primary aural experience derived from the vocals too, the limited music not doing a lot for the portions it was noticed.

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara has been very busy over the last year, working increasingly for other companies as a performer while still releasing the titles he directs at Evil Angel. While most of the industry has cut back significantly, this immediately raises concerns that his product line isn't selling as well, though regrouping strikes me as a better way of putting it given the cutbacks noticed on Fucked On Sight 4; the sequel to Fucked On Sight 3. The movie is the latest point of view release by the studly director where he meets, greets, treats, then meats a variety of ladies with a diverse background. While the movie is only a single disc effort and had minimal extras, the guy is still Manuel "fricking" Ferrara and anyone that knows the ladies in porn, knows they get really hot about loving this guy so I figured it would still be a decent effort on his part. The company website put it like this: "Fucked on Sight is Manuel Ferrara's highly acclaimed POV line of movies in which the viewer gets a front row, pornstar-focused seat in fucking and getting sucked by the best new talent in the business. In Scene 1, Manuel fucks Aliana Love, a light skinned black girl in the tradition of Renae Cruz. In Scene 2, Manuel fucks exotic European Jennifer Dark, who takes it up the ass. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

The extras took a hit and the technical matters were not quite as advanced as I would have hoped for but Manuel still managed to prove he had what it took on both sides of the camera. In short, Fucked On Sight 4 might not have had as much value as Fucked On Sight 3 but it was still more than enough to earn some praise for a solid set of scenes.
