The Movie:

Hustler’s Barely Legal 118 is quite literally more of the same, but if nothing else it gets the ‘young horny girl’ part right and for most of us, this reviewer included, that’s what matters most. Throw in the fact that this time around there’s some ‘first timers’ on board, and you’ve got a pretty nice release. There’s no story here, no real set up, just five young ladies ready to get fucked with Otto Bauer behind the camera once again to show you how it all goes down. Here’s a look:

Barely Legal 118 looks good in this 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer though quality does very a bit from scene to scene – in fact, parts of it looks to have been shot intentionally soft. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction looks okay even if and skin tones are way too orange. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot just a hint of shimmer here and there but you do have to be looking for it to notice it.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this DVD release is a Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine. Dialogue stays clean and clear throughout and the levels are all properly balanced. The score sounds good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. The audio here won't blow you away but it certainly won't disappoint you either.

Extras:

Extras are very slim this time around, limited to a quick, five minute documentary that gives a very brief history of the infamous Barely Legal series of movies entitled Barely Legal: How It All Began, which has been included on all of the recent releases in the line. Aside from that, there are some irritating Hustler phone sex ads, some trailers, a still gallery, and a Behind The Scenes clip which is six and a half minutes of random shots recorded while the feature was being made.

Final Thoughts:

Five well shot scenes featuring five legitimately beautiful girls? What’s not to like here! Like most of the entries in this series, this latest effort is well shot and plenty steamy, for fans of younger girls getting it on, Barely Legal 118 comes recommended.
