This Ain't The Munsters XXX is a well-crafted spoof of the classic 1960's TV black-and-white TV show called The Munsters. If you're old enough to remember the show (like I am), or have seen re-runs, you know that The Munsters was, in effect, a spoof of the Frankenstein horror flicks of the 1930's. So, This Ain't The Munsters XXX is a spoof of a spoof!

By releasing This Ain't The Munsters XXX on the heels of Not the Brady's XXX and before the release of parodies of The Partridge Family and other classic TV shows, Hustler is definitely becoming the "spoof" company. And, they're doing a very fine job of it, too!

Lee Stone plays Herman, the extremely lovable and funny patriarch of the family. Herman is a Frankenstein-like creature assembled hundreds of years ago by Grandpa (Gavin Wells) out of spare parts from a cemetery. Roxy Deville plays Lily, Herman's wife and Trent Soluri reprises the role of Eddie, their werewolf son. All of these Munster family members are ghouls and are portrayed with sickly-green skin. There's one exception, of course. And that's Marilyn, the gorgeous, blond, and totally normal (she's NOT green!) niece who is superbly portrayed by the incendiary Shawna Lenee.

The plot revolves around the Munsters' forthcoming 200th anniversary. Herman just has to do something extraordinary for Lily on this most special of anniversaries. So, he diligently searches through morgues, mortuaries, and cemeteries to find the perfect new body part (you can guess what it is!) for himself...a body part that will give untold pleasure to his beloved wife.

Grandpa attaches the newly acquired appendage to Herman's body and, of course, Herman and Lily make great use of it on their anniversary night. In particular, Lee Stone does a stupendous job as Herman. Lee has all of Herman's mannerisms down pat...from crashing through their mansion's front door to causing the earth to shake when he jumps for joy to his telling of corny jokes to his hand and arm motions. Lee deserves an acting award for this performance. Roxy Deville, playing Lily, also does an admirable job. She plays the sweet-yet-ghastly matriarch to a tee! And, Shawna Lenee really pulls off the 1960's sweet-yet-horny-teen persona of Marilyn, too.

Director Anton Slayer spent an inordinate amount of effort planning and directing the production. It's obvious by his choice of locations and sets, the use of props, the special effects, the makeup and wardrobe, and the performances he induces from the cast...in both speaking roles and sex. I must admit that some of the special effects could be a little better. But, this is not a huge-budget Hollywood blockbuster. Anton did a remarkable job on a porn-shoot budget!

Finally, Anton is to be congratulated for the measure of authenticity he brings to this Munsters spoof. The family members' appearance, their mannerisms, and their home are all very reminiscent of the classic Munsters!
