Extra's: The best extra for me was the 18.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature directed by Jewel De' Nyle. There was sex footage, the gals giving interviews and on their photoshoots, and some humor. I also liked the 18 minute long photoshoot since it showed the gals at their best. The other extras were the cumshot recap from the scenes, the photogallery, some trailers and the usual double sided DVD cover with the second side being a series of covers from other PXP releases.

Audio/Video Quality: Spread 'Em Wide 3 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally directed by Jewel De' Nyle for distribution by Platinum X Pictures. The fleshtones were accurate, the editing unobtrusive, and the lighting generally fair although more work on the lighting would've made it look better (there were some shadows, particularly on Keri's scene, that bugged me). The overall composition of the shots was favorable to the gals and I saw no compression artifacts or video noise to mar the picture. The stereo English audio was fairly basic with the cast being easily heard as they moaned & groaned in 2.0 Dolby Digital. The music wasn't a factor in the scenes and I thought it was well handled too.

Body of Review: Jewel De'Nyle has long been one of my favorite performers for the way in which she seemed to readily enjoy using her body for fun and profit in a multitude of scenes. In recent years, she stopped working in front of the camera to concentrate on making porn as a director for her company, Platinum X Pictures, with the latest title being Spread 'Em Wide 3, the 191st release by PXP. The emphasis of the scenes this time was to provide a plethora of pussy to engage in hardcore vaginal and anal sex, as they spread their openings wide for their partners to drill repeatedly. If this sounds like a winner to you, here's a brief description of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used by anyone:

Scene One: Jasmine Byrne, one of the hottest Latinas in porn, showed off her all natural body for the camera to great effect before masturbating and having a scene with muscular John Strong. Her looks got her into the doorway of my lustful nature but what I really liked was her sheer enthusiasm with his penis in her mouth. Fans of salad tossing will appreciate her rimming him but once he started tapping her, he was in a heated trance of sorts as most of the rest of us would be. Scene Two: Veronica Jett, a skanky brunette that reminds me of the gal who played the lead in the original La Femme Nikita movie, was up next as she followed the formula of showing off her body and masturbating before being joined by her partner; in this case being Sean Michaels. Summary: Spread 'Em Wide 3 was worth a rating of Recommended to most and maybe higher for fans of the cast. Keri was in rare form as was Lauren and Jasmine nearly stole the show. The technical qualities were generally well handled and the amount of extras seemed reasonable considering the amount of fuck for the buck the movie itself offered up. This might not have been Jewel's best movie so far but it was a solid hit for those wanting to see various forms of gonzo action. Now that Keri Sable has moved out of making gonzo, this might be one of the last times you'll see her doing all the nasty things you like so much so treat the DVD accordingly.
