Synopsis

Lesbian Psychodramas 3 has a lot going for it. I'm very impressed with the cast..they're all gorgeous. Some (Heather, Brea, and Brooke) are in their twenties. But, the really sexy ones are Tanya and Anita, who are in their thirties.

I'm also very impressed with the videography. I've been ranting lately about bad color balance, poor lighting, jerky camera movements, oblique camera angles, excessive camera movements, and all sorts of other pornisms that are part-and-parcel of so many adult movies nowadays. Not so with Lesbian Psychodramas 3. The video is very well done.

The plot and the delivery of lines by the women also deserves kudos. The story is interesting and the girls play their roles perfectly. In particular, Brea plays a really treacherous bitch, Heather is so sweet, and Brooke plays her indignation like a champ!

Finally, congratulations to the unnamed director and producer for choosing very appropriate locations and using them effectively to tell the story. Also, thanks for adding a nicely supporting musical soundtrack.

By the way, this DVD earned a recommended rating rather than highly recommended solely due to the meager selection of extras. The sex, video, and production values are quite good. So, don't let the recommended score keep you from getting your hands on a copy of Lesbian Psychodramas 3 today!

Extras

The DVD-9 disc I reviewed contains a minimal selection of extras. There's a customary full-motion chapter selector and multiple chapters per scene. An Extras menu contains likes to a two minute self-running slide show, promos for Girlfriends Films lines of movies, trailers for eight specific movies, and web site information. In today's marketplace, this selection of extras is below average. Two stars.

Final Thoughts

The best things about Lesbian Psychodramas 3 include:

• the outstanding cast. All the women--including the younger ones (Brea, Heather, and Brook) and the more "seasoned ones" (Tanya and Anita, who are both in their early to mid-thirties) are beautiful on the eyes. Simply superb!
• the plot and its development. Bottom line: this movie was very nicely crafted. Kudos to the actresses, unnamed director, writer, and videographer for a job very well done. In addition, the wardrobe and makeup are all extremely appropriate to the movie's plot. The overall effect is professional and very sweet and tender.
• the location used to shoot the scene, as well as its use during filming. In comparison to many movies in which an ordinary couch in an ordinary living room is the entire set, this movie makes use of varying rooms and props within and between scenes. The location and sets are very appropriate to the movie's plot and theme.
• the musical soundtrack, which was well chosen and nicely supports the plot development sequences...but not the sex scenes themselves.
• the prolonged gentle foreplay that precedes each scene. Wow! It is incredible! These women really know how to please each other and it shows.
• Scene Four. Easily the scene best in the movie, it highlights Tanya's masseuse skills--as well as her Sapphic sex skills!

Lesbian Psychodramas 3 could have been better if:

• the background ambient noise had been edited out.
• the girls had used some toys during the scene. Fingers and tongues are awesome, but toys up the ante.
• more attention had been paid to the girls' assholes. There's a bit of rimming in Scene Four. That's great, but not enough.
• Heather Starlet had been allowed to squirt. I would think that the girls could have experimented with her "talent" as part of Heather's "lesbian" training.
• There are some missing transitions between sexual positions.

Things I didn't like about Lesbian Psychodramas 3 include:
