Frankly, I think it would have been easy to write some connecting dialog so that all of the scenes could have been related to Janie's next-door neighbors.

Janie is supported in Girl Next Door with a very fine cast of gorgeous girls. Two of them, Alexis Texas and Tori Black, are incomparable performers and have both won Dr. Jay's Must-See Girls awards. The other girls, however, are all "A list," too. Chief among them is work-of-art Monique Alexander, but the cast also includes cute-and-adorable Lexi Belle, voluptuous and nasty Kerry Louise, freckle-faced sweetheart Faye Reagan, and drop-dead gorgeous Aletta Ocean.

One of the best things about Girl Next Door is its emphasis on group sex. Janie Summers Girl Next Door almost earned an exulted XCritic Pick award. In order to receive such an honor from me, a movie must score 4.5 or above in sex and overall as well as 4.0 or above in production values. This movie scored 4.45 for sex and 4.47 overall. So close, yet so far. I'd like the folks at Digital Playground to know that only a couple of things could have pushed this movie from recommended to XCritic Pick. They are: 1) there should be cunnilingus in every scene; and 2) spitting out mouthfuls of semen is disrespectful and girls should not do it. As is often the case, Scott Nails fails to eat his woman's pussy during Scene Five. Why anyone would forego drinking the sweet nectar of Aletta Ocean's pussy is beyond me. In addition, three girls made, in my opinion, the unforgivable decision to spit out semen at the end of their scenes: Lexi, Monique, and Aletta.

I'd also recommend that Digital Playground do something about its miserly selection of extras. Extras on Digital Playground DVDs seldom earn more than 2.5 stars.
