Extras: The only extra I liked was the 29:40 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jade Marcela (credited, though it sounded like Nate doing the interviews initially, switching over after it started) that showed very little going on behind the scenes of making the movie. It jumped around a bit and it was clear that being brand new to porn was not a requirement but there was an effort here to get lesser known newcomers (and I appreciated it too!). There were also trailers, limited text biographies, a slide show, and some spam. Note that the SD version of the movie had a second disc of scenes but it wasn't included here as some reports would suggest (sorry Den).

Audio/Video Quality: No Man's Land Interracial Edition 11Blu-ray was presented in a nicely enhanced 1.78:1 ratio widescreen color as shot by director Anton Slayer for Video Team/Metro Interactive to be released in 1080i resolution using the MPEG-2 codec. The action took place inside a house so the lighting was typically decent, eliminating the usual shadows, grain, and video noise indicative of porn. The camera angles and editing were capably handled as well with the ladies being showcased nicely in most scenes, their best sides focused on from what I could tell (and minimal amounts of time spent on implant scars, stretch marks, and other physical flaws). I did wish more than one camera had been used to fully capture the action though, a few scenes coming across as choppy or not optimal looking visually as a result. The fleshtones were accurate and the bitrate hovered around the mid 16.7 Mbps area most of the time I paid attention but I did not see a lot of compression artifacts on the big screen and the bitrate was all over the map. The scenes began with some tease before the sex kicked in, the music fairly loud compared to similar efforts. I was surprised that a standard definition codec would be used to master the movie though since more advanced codecs tend to provide a substantially better picture in my experience, regardless of bitrate. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English in a 192 Kbps and 48 kHz sampling rate offering, never really adding much by way of aural stimulation but the ladies were easy to hear on those occasions when they were using dirty talk. The music was generic and not offensive, thankfully limited in scope for the most part. There was an upgrade on the visual aspects but the audio seemed to be much the same as it had been before.

Body of Review: Anton Slayer has become a sort of "go to" guy as a director of porn, his willingness to explore a wider variety of action notable when you remember that most of his peers have carved out specific niches they seek to fulfill. I was sent one of his back catalog titles for Video Team/Metro Interactive a few days ago, resulting in this review of No Man's Land Interracial Edition 11 Blu-ray, a spinoff series from the No Man's Land titles I have not seen in some time now. The idea of the series in general is to provide scenes of females enjoying each other sexually without any men in the way, this particular volume providing that the ladies came from all kinds of racial backgrounds to provide more diversity in looks. The main selling point for me going in was the advertised feature scene being Gina Lynn and Marie Luv though the orgy with Eva Angelina or the tryst between Jada Fire and Tori Black certainly fueled some fantasy fires. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Gina Lynn, the hotty blond featured on the front cover, was up first with partner Marie Luv, also on the cover. The gals were wearing their fishnets and thongs as on the cover, nothing left to the imagination as they spanked, kissed, and caressed each other. As expected, this meant that they were soon eating each other out and playing with titties, some ass licking satiating the oral portions of the show before they started fingering and using toys for penetrative acts. The ladies were energetic and enthusiastic, actively participating in the scene to the point I wished they were in the other scenes as well. There was no population pudding spilt by the end of the scene but the lack of genetic juice aside, the gals appeared to have some chemistry together on that black leather couch they engaged on, making it a solid scene worthy of praise. I thought the strap on dildo play was a bit over the top, as were Marie's vocals, yet the scene itself was nicely played out and indicative of Gina's love of darker skinned partners. Yum!

Scene Two: Daisy Marie, a sultry Latina wearing a red bra and thong, was up next with lily white Sammie Rhodes in a similar outfit, the two slowly playing with each other as though trying to seduce their partner on multiple levels of consciousness. Sammie seemed to be more versed in the arts of Sapphic love but Daisy was no slouch either, her ability to use tease most effectively adding some heated elements to the scene too. Sexually, the spanking, oral, and vaginal play were much like the first scene (this is a series after all) but I felt a connection between them that kept me watching how they addressed each other's needs. Sammie digging for clams as she ate Daisy out was hot and the strap on dildo penetration showed them to have near boundless energy but overall, this was as good a scene as the first one in most ways.

Scene Three: Erika Vution, Megan Monroe, and Priva, were up next, the trio encompassing a white gal, an Asian, and a black hotty all wearing skimpy lingerie as they played inside the house. The booty shaking action was pretty amusing but the gals kept looking at the camera as if being given instructions on what to do next, breaking the illusion I had started to weave regarding how much they were there for fun instead of just gay for pay. It wasn't a bad scene overall but the weaknesses did manage to detract from the replay value substantially, the large toy play and oral okay to check out a few times but not as often as the previous scenes in the show. Another thing that bugged me was how the gals seemed to compete for attention, making it seem as though they were slighting each other instead of trying to get each other off on the white couch upstairs.

Scene Four: Jada Fire, a thick black gal with a lot of talent, was up next with pale brunette Tori Black, the ladies teasing each other outside on a sunny day. The natural lighting really looked good on Jada's ass and curvy physique the most, the sex itself moved inside for intimacy (the artificial lighting not nearly as good). Jada took the lead as she caressed Tori, feeling her friend up all over but spending ample time on her titties. They followed the sexual formula laid out for them and did oral on each other, used penetrative toys, and eventually removed their revealing lingerie (Tori in bright blue and Jada in pink & black stripes) but as much as they did what was expected of them, they also appeared to be getting off. The "squirting" aspect of the scene was a bit weak but the manner in which they continually looked into each other's eyes made it all worthwhile for this reviewer, no fast forward fodder in evidence. Sweet!

Scene Five: Eva Angelina, Sindee Jennings, Ruby Knox, Lana Croft, Sammie Rhodes, and Marie Luv, were all up last in a lengthy living room lesbian orgy that started with Marie masturbating until native Houstonian Sindee joined her on the couch. The outfits were markedly similar to what was worn throughout the show, the high definition appeal of their respective figures something that made me appreciate the added resolution. Once the gals got started on the titty play and oral, they proceeded quickly into the toy penetrative portions of the scene, mixing and matching partners as they became worked up into a frenzy. Yeah, there was some strap on play and even anal action for those of you into the backdoor stuff but it was the positive attitudes and enthusiasm that made it fun to enjoy.

Summary: No Man's Land Interracial Edition 11Blu-ray by director Anton Slayer for Video Team/Metro Interactive was not the most consistently heated volume of the series I have seen to date and the disc encoding was surprisingly low end but it was definitely a visual upgrade worth considering if you find a decent sale so I rated the single disc outing as Recommended. In short, No Man's Land Interracial Edition 11 Blu-ray was superior to the last volume of the No Man's Land series I saw (that one helmed by Devinn Lane too) so fans of interracial lesbian action should enjoy this one a lot thanks in no small part to the director who kept them all in line.
