Paul Woodcrest takes the helm directing the highly acclaimed Hotwife Bound series in place of Eddie Powell. With four tastefully filmed sex scenes strewn across elegant locations, Woodcrest maintains that lofty level of quality set by the previous three movies.

Just like any other New Sensations production, Hotwife Bound 4 is less of a movie and more a collection. All four scenes follow a similar story--you, the husband, are going to watch your wife get bound and fucked by a friend. Other than that similarity, there is no shared story or plot between scenes.

Another staple of New Sensations are their myriad special features. The movie includes a lengthy behind the scenes with long-form and candid interviews with all the ladies that offer a great glimpse into their personalities. I wish more porn did this because it offers a chance to humanize these skillful performers rather than merely objectifying them.

You’ve also got the normal features, like a slideshow and a cumshot recap, but the recap works as so much more. They call it “pick your pleasure,” and it queues up a playlist of any specific sex act or positions you fancy. Again, I wish everybody would do that.

For real bondage fetishists, this might not whet your appetite. The colors and ties are mostly just for show. It’s more bondage fashion than anything else. I like it, and it gets the point across, but purists might want a more niche title.

The sex is good. It’s really really good and features superstars like Angela White, and very promising newcomers, including one girl that needs to be on everybody’s watchlist: Gianna Dior.

Scene 1:

Kendra Spade’s husband is off traveling and gives James Deen a ring, whose dick happens to be getting sucked by Kendra Spade. It’s OK though, they’ve got a pretty open relationship, but she steps aside to take the call and hear about a surprise that hubby has got planned for her.

Surprise! Friend-with-benefits Deen is trained in the ways of BDSM, and Spade is in for an experience in submission. The setup is ominous. As she’s wrapping up her call, Woodcrest lays it on thick with some real horrorshow music while Deen lays out various bondage accouterments.

As noted in her behind-the-scenes interview, Spade and Deen have great chemistry. James Deen remains in character as the domme he so frequently plays. He reinforces her need to ask for things and plays little games with Kendra if she contradicts herself in the moment.

Bondage elements come in the form of red tape, handcuffs, and ropework. The rope bit is pretty cool with Dean wrapping and tying Spade with different riggings without so much as breaking rhythm with him deep fucks.

Kendra Spade lives for bondage, making this the perfect scene for lovely twenty-year-old. In her words at AdultDVDTalk, “I really love watching porn … I have always loved watching bondage porn or really rough BDSM sex. Just the idea of being someone’s toy or fulfilling someone’s desires or pleasing someone is just so erotic for me. That is what turns me on the most.“

Spade works herself into a frenzy, deepthroating and fucking Deen’s dick like her life depended on it. The sex is decidedly rough with hard fucks, light slaps, and hair-pulling. That might turn some viewers off, but the pleasured looks on Spade’s face assure us that this is just part of her bondage play.

James Deen plays no small part in making this scene great. With Kendra all tied up, the impetus is on Deen to arrange her body in a manner that appeals to the pornography being created. He twists her body like a Rubik’s Cube, showcasing Spade’s natural beauty and enticing the camera with astounding views of all the naughty bits.

Set design is basic, with your simple girl-on-bed setup. It makes for comfortable and natural sex, but the room offers little in background elements. There’s an uninteresting headboard and an awkwardly placed lamp in the corner.

But that is easily outweighed by the splendor of great hardcore sex.

Scene 2:

It’s all about the setup. Ivy Wolfe opens the scene with a POV performance playing to the camera as she goes on about some fresh candles. She talks openly to the camera (her husband) about her nerves surrounding her upcoming rope-play with close-friends Chad White.

Wolfe lets her natural sexuality shine with kinky talk, smiles, and a little masturbation before White appears. As Wolfe puts it, it’s a little ‘show’ to make us feel more comfortable. She rubs herself down and gets very excited for her BDSM date night.

The POV setup carries into the scene with Wolfe and White chatting to the camera. While they do a good job staying in character, there’s something very video-game about the scene. The way the two look at the camera so as to reassure the viewer that yes, you are here, is in some way isolating. It serves as a reminder that this fantasy is indeed concocted.

As with most things in porn, we’re all too happy to overlook it if the sex is hot. And Wolfe makes some epic sex after Chad asks if he can “take control.”

The buildup is slow. I mean slow. But that’s the thing that makes this scene so erotic. You can see it in Wolfe’s body. The nipples harden, and her delightful pink pussy is all desire long before White even thinks about tasting her juices.

She plays it coy and shy, always looking into the camera at you, her husband, to reassure that this is OK. I like how Chad White gets in on the consent game too. He asks “can I eat your pussy?” and then turns to the camera and asks “is that cool?” With consent, he then goes to work making, as Ivy says, her legs quake. The same happens each step of the way.

Woodcrest delivers sweeping views and flattering angles of Wolfe’s sexually energized body with an intimate single-camera continuous shot. It feels like you’re right there, shifting with excitement.

The sex goes through the usual transitions with oral and a revolving-door of positions. There’s some deep-throating, light bondage and Chad even does some ass-munching, but there’s no anal sex for you bum-lovers. It ends with a big facial and more seductive looks from Ivy Wolfe. I think she wants guests more often.

Scene 3:

One of those things that set Angela White apart is her ability to effortlessly highlight those curves. And one look at her outfit in the mirror is a big yum!

Woodcrest’s third act opens with Angela getting dressed and excited for a hotwifing session with Mick Blue. She shows off her curves, talks something dirty, and then realizes that she wants to cum before Blue arrives.

Old school porn fans who remember the screeching sound of a dial-up modem will feel right at home when White gently mounts that all-powerful cum-machine: The Sybian. The sound of that rumbly motor combined with White’s uncontrollable orgasms will take you right back to the little low-res discs of CDGirls. But this one’s much better.

After she squirts, Blue shows up at the front door with some rope and proceeds to chastise you (the husband) for putting her on the Sybian so early. It’s a clever prelude to the bondage scene, where Blue points out the reason she likes that toy so much: “because you can control it yourself.” It’s a statement that foreshadows the bondage to come.

There is significantly more binding in this scene than the rest. White winds up tied at the hands and feet, and Blue even fashionably ties her chest with some rope. You can see his handiwork with her swollen ta-ta’s on the cover. It’s gorgeous.

Toys are a big part of the show and not just the Sybian. My favorite part features one of those epic Hitachi Magic Wands. She cums once early-on, but I think she looks fabulous towards the end when White’s eyes roll back to a one-two combo of  Mick’s dick and the vibes of that wand on her clit. She looks great! Speaking of toys, the Sybian makes a comeback for the big finish, with Angela grinding the mount while sucking a great facial from Blue.

It’s a great scene because there’s so much to it. Angela keeps talking directly to you, the viewer, and engaging us with that POV feel. Then there’s great variety in positioning, along with some solid deep-throating to keep us entertained. And those toys along with some gorgeous orgasms. Oh yeah, there’s an element of bondage too. The only thing lacking is anal, but even if you’re a bum-lover, please don’t let that deter you from this epic fuck.

Scene 4:

Every now and then, there comes a pornographic scene that makes even the most jaded XXX reviewer stand up at attention. One such time is when Gianna Dior learns “the art of submission” from her piano instructor, at her husband’s suggestion.

She shows up at Logan Pierce’s place for a piano lesson, which quickly turns into a lesson in bondage and submission. It’s a sex scene that falls in line with a trend that has been popular among a number of sites and studios. The concept: sex on a piano. You’ll hear lots of random notes and the piano and set make for a gorgeous backdrop for some remarkable sex.

Dior, the Native-American newbie-pornstar is quickly becoming one of my favorites. That standing is solidified by her upstanding performance with Mr. Pierce.

The scene opens with a lot of oral. Not just pussy-licking, but full body licking from Logan Pierce. His tongue reaches all parts of Dior’s tan body, including her ass, and he only stops when he comes back to his commission: to train Dior in the ways of submission.

He binds and eventually gags her in chains and leather while his student willingly submits, first with oral then gladly bending over in the hopes of full-blown penetrative sex. After some ass-licking, Pierce gladly obliges.

Like most of this film, Dior doesn’t engage in full-on balls-to-the-wall bondage. That’s not the point. It’s a soft fantasy that is akin to a more explicit vision of what we might imagine in a 50 Shades book.

Dior looks amazing as the willing participant. She’s always arching her back and rolling her eyes to convey the very idea of sexual bliss. Woodcrest delivers fantastical views of her bouncing tits and wet pussy as she is gleefully dominated by a rock-solid Pierce.

For my money, this is the best scene of the DVD, even beating out superstar Angela White. I do not say that lightly. It’s another promising showing from newcomer Gianna Dior, and works as a showcase of the sort of solid pornography that she is capable of creating. If this is the baseline, I’m very excited to see what her pornography looks like in a years time. Keep your eyes on this one!

Hotwife Bound 4 is a delightful romp in the world of bondage with outstanding sex scenes and beautiful cinematography. The locations are great, sound quality amazing, and the DVD is packed with enough special features to warrant a physical copy over a mere membership.

There is nothing to find fault in. It’s just a fantastic porno; a real pleasure to review. This is an unexpectedly good film worthy of a Highly Recommended.
