Extras: The best extra was the 34:38 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. The gals were fun and added something to the proceeding, some establishing a bit of chemistry as they prepared to go to town giving up the ass. Audio/Video Quality: Lord of Asses 14 was presented in a 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen offering as shot by director Tom Byron for Tom Byron Pictures in the MPEG-2 codec (like most standard definition titles are, using a 480i resolution). The camera work mixed it up this time with a bit of tease footage taken inside the house, including some quality time of the ladies in skimpy outfits or naked, but much of it out by Tom's pool where the lighting was better too. The video maintained a bitrate of mid 4.1 Mbps most of the time, reducing the obvious compression artifacts to almost none and each scene provided solid fleshtones that appeared to be accurate as Craig Daze and Tom worked the cameras. The composition of the scenes was consistent too with the picture not always optimal (looking better this time though) but as far as Tom's work is concerned, it was shot with the ladies in mind; making the gals look their best for the most part or at least as much as the point of view style he employed could make them. The editing was generally decent, showing the same level of skill as the last time I checked out one of his movies for review, albeit I wished some additional tease footage was left in the scenes or provided in the extras section of the DVD. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English offering at 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate. There was no noticeable separation between the tracks and the dynamic range was limited but I could hear the ladies and the music was not a factor so I would say it was about average in most respects.

Body of Review: Tom Byron has really shown a lot of people an upgrade from his former distributor with his works for Tom Byron Pictures, his premise of keeping it simple working far better thanks to the wealth of popular ladies he casts. His latest title making it my way was an older release sent my way by a friend called Lord of Asses 14, the series known for the amount of anal sex taking place in each scene. This time, Tom boned a variety of ladies like Euro-hotty Jennifer Dark, all American Hillary Scott and even internet diva (and reported manly looking) Dana, showing his style suited most of them just fine. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Tara Lynn Foxx, the blond seen on the left side of the front cover, was up first wearing her red outfit, her extra weight working for her much like her thick lips both by the pool and the studio. Her tease wasn't bad but consisted of a lot of posing instead of active moves, watering down her appeal a bit until she was set to work on the couch with Tom Byron. She masturbated and blew him in POV, Tom eating her ass out before she slobbed his knob some more and took his shaft inside her pussy. She was a passive rider this time and eventually did anal too, her dirty talk keeping it worth watching once but not saving it for the replay pile at all. Scene Two: Dana DeArmond, the brunette with old lady bangs on her hair, was up next, the once controversial matron of alt-porn now reduced to yet another anal gonzo whore servicing whomever will hire her such as Tom Byron. She ended up on the bed and did not appear to have the diva attitude she was getting known for while under contract, her seductive teasing of the guy leading to the POV hummer she gave all too well. It was a messy blowjob and could have ended there but Tom wanted more, a lot more, and they continued with some ass eating by Tom, then followed up with an active vaginal ride. The scene was not complete though until they went to the back door, Hillary long known as an anal princess but too passive this time in all her positions. The ending facial spoke volumes about how much she had a need for seed though, almost saving the flick but not quite there for me.

Summary: Lord of Asses 14 by director Tom Byron for Tom Byron Pictures might not have had the shock factor of some of his other recent titles or as ambitious a cast in that sense but to be fair, each of them did take his pecker in the ass as though they were well versed in the anal arts so I rated it as a Rent It, though fans of the particular cast might want to bump that up a notch or two depending on how devoted you are to your object of lust. In short then, Lord of Asses 14 delivered the anal action advertised and the cast was not half bad, making it worth checking out whatever your exact grade might be.
