Synopsis

Flight Attendants is an extremely funny and very well crafted comedy that is a parody of the classic spoof film Airplane. Director Will Ryder, whose previous parodies have won him numerous accolades, lets out all the stops in this three hour release that melds funny dialog, slapstick comedy, scorching hot sex, and a cast that was made in heaven. It should definitely be on your holiday list. Your friends deserve copies, too!

Flight Attendants tells the tale of Global Air, its drop-dead-gorgeous flight attendants, and its sex-starved pilots. Once the dominant carrier, Global has literally fallen out of grace since an unfortunate accident in which all passengers--save one--perished in a tremendous crash into a Florida swamp. The airline's once-filled aircraft languish nearly empty as its once healthy balance sheet turns as red as the inside of Hillary Scott's pussy. The comedic plot that develops revolves around Global Air's employees as they struggle to turn around their beleaguered firm. Of course, the Global Air marketing plan works and the girls' sexy new uniforms attract full-house crowds of passengers...and they learn to give the "best care anywhere," if you know what I mean. During the first flight in their new uniforms, one of the flight attendants, Shyla Stylez, goes into the cockpit to congratulate the pilots on the carrier's newfound success. Flight Attendants has a hell of a lot going for it. Start with the absolutely stellar cast...they're wet dreams come true. Then, consider, believe it or not, the acting. Although there are no inferior performances in the movie, I simply must single out two of the cast: Kayden Kross and James Bartholet. James, in a non-sex role, plays a flaming gay flight attendant to an absolute tee. Excellent job, James. Kayden, who plays an adorable Miss Good Girl, has a delightfully wicked knowledge of sexual vocabulary that effortlessly (and often inappropriately) flows off her tongue with ease and finesse. Kayden, you were wonderfully serious in The 8th Day. You're wonderfully silly in Flight Attendants.

Flight Attendants also boasts an extremely funny script, nearly slap-stick comedy routines and one-liners, not-so-subtle references to other X-Play movies, excellent locations and sets, dead-on perfect wardrobe and hairstyling, and very unique sexual scenarios. For example, one encounter begins as a two-girl solo and then morphs into a boy/girl/girl blowjob scene. Another scene, involving professional "ass whore" Hillary Scott (she plays a Global flight attendant), begins when she and her husband begin to make out in their lavish Dallas-area living room. • The locations, sets, wardrobe, plot development, stock footage leading up to the scene are very professional...in a very spoof-like way that's reminiscent of the mainstream Airplane.
• There is a way-cool daydream sequence during the plot development preceding the scene. When he asks the girls to provide their measurements for their new uniforms, one of Global's managers dreams about having them all in a reverse gangbang. Whew!

The BTS segments include: 1) On the Set; 2) Cleared for Take Off; 3) Lights, Camera, Action; 4) Cleared to Land; 5) Outtakes and Bloopers; 6) Behind the Music (always a treat in Will Ryder's movies); 7) Shooting the Sex; and 8) Quiet on the Set. There are Cast and Crew Interviews of Kayden Kross, Sunny Lane, Hillary Scott, Eva Angelina, Lexi Love, Teagan Presley, Misty Stone, Randy Spears, Eric Swiss, James Bartholet, Brad Hardy, director Will Ryder, and Scott David (the producer). Although the BTS segments are all worthwhile watches, I think that the best extras are the interviews which are very insightful and give us a good look at the personalities of the performers. This is a very nice set of extras...not as extensive as those on, say 2040, but just as enjoyable. Four and one-half stars! 

Final Thoughts

The best things about Flight Attendants include:

• the cast. It's a dream cast...a wet dream cast.
• the acting. It used to be rare for porn stars to be able to act. Not any more. Sunny and Eva are superb "bitches," Kayden is an outstanding "good girl," Shyla plays the quintessential air-headed blond, and Evan Stone is, as always, funnier than hell. The non-sex cast members fulfill their roles well, too...especially James Bartholet as the gay male flight attendant. And, Thomas Ward superbly plays a Bill Cosby look- and sound-alike Air Traffic Controller. Funny stuff!
• the production values...the sets, the locations, the stock footage, the wardrobe, the makeup and hairstyles, the comedic script and plot, and the music...are all mainstream quality!
• the slapstick plot...it's FUNNY!
• the sex. Often, "feature" sex isn't as good as "gonzo" sex. Not true in this feature.
• the POV footage. Most of the scenes have some point-of-view angles that make it appear as the hot girl on the screen is fucking or sucking us.

Flight Attendants could have been better if:

• Eva, Sunny, and Shyla had taken it up the ass.
• there had been a huge all-girl orgy at the end of the movie. It's not hard to imagine the hell that would break loose if all the girls in this movie all attacked each other at the same time!
• the camera movements had been slightly more fluid and smooth instead of jerky.

Things I didn't like about Flight Attendants include:
