Synopsis

Although Out Numbered #5 was released in January 2010, the scenes were captured some time ago. I checked the embedded EXIF data in the still photos included with my review copy of the movie and the date indicated is June 27, 2006. Of course, there's absolutely nothing wrong with watching three and one-half year-old sex. But, it's rather interesting to be able to watch some 2006-vintage performers who are no longer in the biz. By the way, Scene One was filmed much later, in December 2008.

No matter when these two fine orgies were videotaped, I must admit that director Erik Everhard did an outstanding job. Scene One, in particular, has an extremely well crafted storyline that begins the morning after a group of guys partied a little too much. Seeing his house in disarray, Mike John calls a maid service to come clean up. Soon after a squad of five gorgeous housekeepers shows up, the girls awaken and share two extremely lucky guys...and each other. First, there's some one-on-one action between Lisa Ann and Erik and between Sasha Grey and Toni Ribas. Meanwhile, the remaining girls (Heather, Katja, and Missy) share a little three-girl tease and squeeze. Then, everybody gets together for a no-holes-barred orgy in which the girls definitely outnumber the oh-so-lucky guys. So, in essence, this extra-long 90-minute scene is really four scenes: two concurrent boy/girl couplings, an all-girl trio, and a vaginal/anal/DP orgy. Sweet!

Although the scenario in Scene Two is not as extensive as that in Scene One, it is still worthy of kudos. Now known as Janie Summers, Heather is really a girl to watch and one of the main attractions in Scene One. MILF lovers will swoon while watching voluptuous Lisa Ann suck and fuck. Speaking of girls...check out how many girls are in this flick. In case you are unaware, female porn stars command at least twice as much money per scene as guys...often three times or more. In addition to the quality of the girls, I must admit that every production-values aspect I consider important--except music--is well executed in Out Numbered #5. The locations are very nice and are skillfully used during the shoot; the makeup, hairstyling, and wardrobe are excellent; and, as previously mentioned, the scenarios are nicely planned and executed. Nice job, Erik!

• The movements of the camera are often jerky rather than smooth and fluid.
• The camera operator uses way too many oblique camera angles that make it appear as if the performers are going to slide off the side of the screen.

This group of Extras rates "average" in today's marketplace. Three stars.

Final Thoughts

The best things about Out Numbered #5 include:

• the scenarios. Lots of thought and creativity went into planning and executing these two sex scenes. It's a far cry from the all-too-common "let's fuck on somebody's couch" routine so prevalent in porn today.
• Sasha Grey and Amy Ried. These two Dr. Jay's Must-See Girls never disappoint and are always worth a look!
• Heather Starlet. Yum! If you haven't seen this little treat, you'd better get some of her movies in your DVD or Blu-Ray player right away. I've reviewed her in two girl/girl scenes and this boy/girl orgy. Wow! (By the way, she's now a Digital Playground contract girl with the name Janie Summers.)

• the production values. Locations, sets, wardrobe, props, make-up, creativity, planning...all much better than the norm.

Out Numbered #5 could have been better if:

• more attention had been paid to the lighting in both scenes.
• the camera movements been smoother and less jarring.
• the cameraman refrained from using oblique camera angles in Scene One (only). For some reason, porn videographers turn the camera this way and that so that the performers look like they're going to slip off the screen. Tell me...in what other genre do you see such lunacy? Certainly not in mainstream. Videographers...hold the camera straight, don't jerk it around, and move smoothly and judiciously. BE PROFESSIONAL...not porn camera jockeys.
• there had been consistent transitioning footage when the couples/groups move from one position to another in Scene One. After many edits, people are fucking different partners in a different part of the room than they were five seconds earlier. That causes a lack of continuity that makes me, for one, think I missed something important.

Things I didn't like about Out Numbered #5 include:

• not much of anything. Out Numbered #5 gave me what I really like to see...more than one girl per guy. A few things could have been better (see above). But nothing cries out: "horrific!"
